That first email was a picture of the last guy that messed with me. :)

porsche4life 01-13-2010 05:13 AM

If that's the truth you are one sick bastard.....

porsche4life 01-13-2010 05:22 AM

Guys I'd be all over a 911 if I could find one in the sub 5k range that was as good as my 944.... So that ain't happening.... Don't worry about learning to drive it... I bet Glen would show me the ropes there.....

Rick V 01-13-2010 05:34 AM

I think I kinda said that Sid.

porsche4life 01-13-2010 05:38 AM

I know that.... Just pointing out that you were right.....

Rick V 01-13-2010 06:02 AM

Yanno Sid, you can find a mid year in the price range you are looking at. Kinda get your feet wet and not have a major investment. How bout a nice Boxster? I just happen to know where ne is for sale. :)

porsche4life 01-13-2010 08:05 AM

What kinda deal would you cut me... And I need a heck of a deal... It isn't a slushbox is it?

Rick V 01-13-2010 08:20 AM

it is over priced, it was an impulse buy, I am selling it for payoff. But no it is a 5spd. Boy do you think I would own a slushbox Porsche? I oughta smack you.

porsche4life 01-13-2010 08:23 AM

You said your wife drove it... It was a good chance.... I'm gunna take a flying leap and guess north of 7k though..... Which is outta my price range....

Rick V 01-13-2010 08:27 AM

Good guess. And yeah the wife drives it, but I am gonna tell you something, she knows what a Porsche is for. Her father used to race MG's, her first husband raced Interceptors with factory sponsorship. She puts a lot of people "on the trailer".

Early steel control arms, late 951 trailing arms, late offset hubs, rebuildable strut housings, lighter dash, simpler electronics, etc etc etc.

Was thinking on this... Not saying I'd pass on the 924S but I'm not going to search one out..... This is a DD not a racer.... I just don't like the looks of the 924. I'm a widebody guy....

porsche4life 01-13-2010 08:29 AM

Sorry Rico I'd love to have a Boxster but thats just too much $$$.... Call me when you'll take 5 for it. SmileWavy

To many... years... miles.... what have you....

Rick V 01-13-2010 08:50 AM

But....................but..................but... ..................she is sub 5k.

porsche4life 01-13-2010 08:51 AM

Does she come with the boxster at that price? Then maybe we'd have a deal... Do I have to provide her a place to live?

Rick V 01-13-2010 08:57 AM

yes to both. :)
Okay back to work, Y'all talk among yourselves

porsche4life 01-13-2010 08:58 AM
