Afternoon folks.

I stopped at the local Whole Foods known locally as Whole Paycheck. I got a 5 dollar cup of some killer seafood gumbo and some fruit to eat at work. The lady in front of me was just finishing up and she bought over $400 worth of PUMPKINS! She had one of every type of goofy looking pumpkins, green, yellow, flattened, spotted, striped and one HUGE orange one.

Dang, 400 bucks for decorations she will throw in the trash in a month or so. The check out lady said the customer she they have a big party at their house every year and they are just decorations. It must be nice to have lots of disposable income.

That Whole Foods store is right next to the Chesapeake energy campus. It is full of folks in nice dressy clothes, and me in jeans and a t-shirt. ;)

ARGHHHH

I hate some stupid land engineers! He sends me a worthless POS rotten useless FAX of a map from the middle of nowhere in nowhere county and asks for an image of the are from 1991. I am supposed to provide an accurate geo referenced aerial photo of a bunch of trees with hardly a road to get a reference point from and he sends a B&W fax with large black blobs. Grumble grumble grumble.

Have you ever been to an AJ's? A step above even a Whole Foods. They are even pricier but man, their food is good. People there are even more foo foo than at Whole Foods. I go there to pretend I am rich...

RKDinOKC 10-09-2012 02:38 PM

Do they still make polaroids?

I went to a Harry's in Atlanta several years ago. Now that was a hoity toity market, their coffee bar had current newspapers from all over the world, there was valet parking, AND a concierge. The most surprising thing was there was only one row of each item on the shelf, and nothing was out of stock, they had at least one of everything.

Ut oh, sold my TV, Glen and his coworker just came by and picked it up. My new one does not get here until tomorrow at lunch time. WHAT AM I GOING TO DO?!?

You should have told us before we came over to wait a day. Sorry to take your tv. I have my old 14 inch Commodore 64 monitor from 1983 in the garage. It works great as a tv as long as you have a VCR to supply an RCA input. You can borrow that if ya want a little tiny tv. I also have a 8 inch portable battery operated Digital tv that you can hold in your hand if you want to borrow that.
