slodave 12-29-2012 12:13 PM

It's also used as a skin softener, Max. :)

nynor 12-29-2012 12:19 PM

i really need to learn to weld....

the exhaust pipe on the subie has rusted through, right in front of the catalytic converter. this would be and EASY fix, if i had the equipment and skill.... off to the shop on monday, IF they are open. or should i just take it to midas/equivalent?

Rick V 12-29-2012 12:20 PM

The Midas type of places use crap materials but they have a lifetime warantee so they will replace the crap for free forever

slodave 12-29-2012 12:22 PM

JB weld and duct tape. Good as new!

Flieger 12-29-2012 12:22 PM

Now is your chance to fit some stainless steel headers.

nynor 12-29-2012 12:22 PM

good to know.

i'll take it to our regular shop.

it isn't the headers that are the problem. further, i cannot justify that kind of cost for a forester.

And some paper towels. Wet the paper towels with JB weld and layer the sheets. Alllow to cure and you have a cheap version of carbon fiber! (There is carbon in paper)
