That beast going to survive the roads and make it to breakfast tomorrow? Dad and I are coming in his dodge pickup.... Going to get our new car trailer afterwards....

Going, but it is really really dirty. My windshield squirters just kind of dribble. The headlight washers work great but make a horrible mess.

The corolla and dads pickup are both disgusting..... the VW is for sale so its been sitting at the house and the Porsche hasn't seen outside the garage since b4 this crap started... going to help mom load some stuff in the pickup and then I am going for a spin in the VW... It needs washed anyways.....

The prototype of the watch will be at a 928 breakfast in Dallas in the morning, would be tempted to go there, but haven't been to the War Bonnet Breakfast in a couple of months.

porsche4life 02-05-2010 01:25 PM

You haven't been to much WBR other than poker in quite some time... I haven't seen ya since the Xmas party....

true, just sent message to the pool at work saying

the bad news is, we still gotta go to work on monday
the good news is, boss, you won't be alone on monday

What scares me is you have a higher probability of getting hit by lightening than winning the lottery. I can't bring myself to buy a ticket because I fear the two are somehow related.

Oh you are gonna fit in very well here:D

svandamme 02-05-2010 01:31 PM

probably, but we only play when there's a big pot, they pool up with the coworkers , increase our chances.... i know it's not a realistic deal, and i have better luck going to a casino to play blackjack (i've never left without doubling my initial stakes while playing Blackjack, but i don't play often, and i never get greedy)

RKDinOKC 02-05-2010 01:36 PM

The bigger the pot the more tickets sold the higher the odds against winning.

You can check the scratch offs on-line to see which ones have paid off yet and how many have been sold, then buy the ones that haven't paid.

GH85Carrera 02-05-2010 02:06 PM

I think they reuse all the numbers. Even if the ticket won one day the odds for that number are the same as the other numbers the next day.

porsche4life 02-05-2010 03:10 PM

Richard you work with numbers too much to be thinking about that. Gunna get us all confused.

Rick V 02-05-2010 03:14 PM

Speak for your self little one

porsche4life 02-05-2010 03:31 PM

He'll get you Rick. And ya he's twisted. Cmon he even let me stay with him.

Rick V 02-05-2010 03:36 PM

That isn't twisted, it is foolhardy

RKDinOKC 02-05-2010 03:36 PM

There are a limited number of scratch offs printed, the few winners are printed and distributed with the rest of them. Not like the lotto, new numbers drawn every time.

Question...

If I burn a ISO meant for a Mac on a Windows pc, will it work?

What about using Ubuntu...

nynor 02-05-2010 05:52 PM

an iso is a disk image, usually. thus you will be able to 'burn' the image regardless of the OS. however, if the application software is windows based it's not going to work on the mac, and vice versa.

what is it you are doing?
