Field programmable gate array. Sounds like fun. :)

RKDinOKC 01-26-2013 02:04 AM

Foot is disturbingly about the same. Doesn't seem to be progressing for the last week or so.

It's not too bad, just a baby one with only 10k logic elements.

Is the Doc happy with the progress so far? Have they given you a guesstimate on when it should be good?

Happy Oz Day Jeff, Azzy, and any lurkers. http://forums.pelicanparts.com/support/smileys/ura.gif

Nice looking 944, Janet. SmileWavy

What's your mission at NAMM today, Dave?

Richard, have you considered Bondo for that foot of yours? It'll look like new. :D

Wow, smilie overload this AM.

Morning Y'all
Wow Rickie has the entire weekend off, now what kind of trouble can I get into?

HHI944 01-26-2013 05:16 AM

Gotham Cycles - The Ducati Parts Specialist

although i read that you ordered the parts.[/QUOTE]

I ended up going with california cycleworks. Under 100 for both belts and 4 valve cover gaskets shipped.

It's funny how many 'tools' they sell for valve adjustment.last tine I did duc valves, a magnet, screwdriver, flashlight, feelers gauges and a pair of needle nose pliers with a rubber band around the handles worked pretty damn well

I have not named my car yet. I simply refer to her as, "She" or "You giant piece of...." when I get frustrated. :)

Rick V 01-26-2013 05:32 AM

44's are among the easier cars to work on. They are a very good starting point to learn .

Jferr006 01-26-2013 05:37 AM

It's my first Euro car. I actually don't aspire to ever get rid of it, for some reason 944 has always been my number.

Rick V 01-26-2013 05:41 AM

I liked the one I had, and wouldn't mind having it back but, meh, I have enough headaches without having to refix things that have been broken since the last time I fixed that car.

I really want to find one of these. I have access to a Subi STI that has been totaled but the engine and running gear is all good. That would be a killer car once all the Misti-Chit has been removed, crushed, set on fire and sold for scrap. Should be a simple swap job.

HHI944 01-26-2013 06:42 AM

Someone helped me get rid of my 944. It was this really cool deal where they ran a stop sign, I t boned them and their insurance paid me twice what I paid for the car.

Bought my landy with the proceeds from that.

Outback Porsche 01-26-2013 06:43 AM

Had a good night at work. Got lots done with nobody around to bug me. :) Time to wind down now. Nearly hit a cow on the way home. Them buggers are hard to see when they turn their backs to you.

Morning all.

That looks like an old Mrs 5hitty Starion from my teen years Rick?

Rick V 01-26-2013 07:06 AM

Mitsi Conquest TSI was the label for the states but yeah, it is the same car, and yes they were POS's, I just think it would be cool to build a reliable very very fast one.

GH85Carrera 01-26-2013 07:11 AM

Good morning folks. So Janet brings another water pumper to the group. The majority of the good looking intelligent and modest folks on the thread have a 911, specifically a white 911. ;) but some are not white.

We allow any and all cars as long as they are loved. :)

Outback Porsche 01-26-2013 07:12 AM

I wanted one as a teenager. Not so sure now :D

Time for snoring. Have a great day. Night all

Hey Rick
Does your duck tail close onto the stock rubber weather strip that runs across the back end ahead of the lower latch?
I put my new to me duck on and it hits the weather strip before it closes all the way.
If i remove the strip in closes ok.

HHI944 01-26-2013 07:34 AM

Yeah, it's pretty much not cool to be white in this country anymore.......or self supporting, much less prosperous....
