profile pic, that's all you get.

For what its worth I started at page 1 not knowing it was a 4000k page thread. It's a work in progress.

azzarule 01-25-2013 06:30 PM

evening Janet, welcome to the thread, any pics of your car?

Have fun reading the last couple of years of the thread. We talk about anything anybody wants to post. We have in the past couple of months talked about everything from recipes, cars, guitars, cigars, foot infections, music, babes, Australian outback weirdos (sorry Jeff), guns and ammo (you will find that that is a popular subject), edible undies, if you can think of a subject we have glossed over it here.

But if you just want someone to chat to after the kids have gone to bed, and can't face the FB frenzy, then this is where you can chat and not have the whole family listen in.

azzarule 01-25-2013 06:33 PM

The only thing we have in common is the Porsche, whether you have one, or just would like to have one, all are welcome here.

My new baby... giving her the TLC she's always deserved.

azzarule 01-25-2013 06:36 PM

Just went outside and took a couple of photos of the house in the s***. Got a fairly good cover again today, but I think it will all be gone by Sunday as it warms up.

Jeff did you have a good Australia Day? Did you manage to keep vertical for the day, or did you start to lean and go horizontal before sundown?

night all, time for bed

Good evening all.
Ahhhh....another Virginian i can harass :D
Welcome aboard.

Ran out of propane down in the garage tonight so now i have to tend another wood stove till they get here next week.
It'll take a lot of gas to heat the floor back up once they get here:mad:

Every Porsche deserves to be looked after, even a 944, .........only joking. Quite a few of the guys on this thread have 944s, don't you boys?

No, I just got it for Christmas. Thanks, I'm not sure I'd call it nice yet, it needs tons of work but, that's what I wanted and it is getting there :)

azzarule 01-25-2013 06:47 PM

Well Pete you will live in Vermont, and its not too warm atm. Hope you don't get too cold waiting for the propane to get delivered. Our furnace blew up in the middle of the snowy winter in France a few years back and we used about 4 ton of wood in the open fireplaces in the 10 days it took to get the furnace replaced.

had to keep getting up every couple of hours to stoke the bloody things, if they had enclosed fireplaces in the house we were renting it would have been so much easier to keep the house warm. So good luck and I hope the weather warms up fa bit to help you.

Great Christmas present.

Is the car running? Does she have a name? I like to name all of my cars, they all have personalities.

anyway, as I said its time for bed. Night all see you laterSmileWavy

You know what they say, just twice the fun!

Actually, the mechanical bits aren't too bad. (Though I think I could shoot the Italian enginerd who thought having 3 types of fasteners for the bodywork was a good idea.) But those electrics....Italian and electrical--almost as exciting as Lucas, because you're never quite sure if you'll get home or not.

After that when we went to visit over there I had to greet that dog in the kitchen where the tile floor was she would dribble a little pee every time. She did not do that for anyone else. She fully understood who was alpha.

my mother's dog would do that whenever it saw me. i don't want a repeat of that nonsense. i was a teenager, still lived at the parentals, and i hated that goddam dog. she knew it, too.
