I tend to eat things just in case they are edible.

I have had emu, crocodile, goat (plenty of Indian places locally) and regularly cook up kangaroo.

Really enjoy traditional Chinese food though I usually ask what it was afterwards, not before :D I have a few Chinese friends from Uni.

So yesterday was an interesting day. I got made redundant from work. Pretty much knew it was coming so was mentally well prepared. I guess I'll just have to go back to contracting at twice the price! LOL

Jellyfish was... Interesting, how do describe it w/o being inappropreiate, oh wait. i cant!

i've had alligator... i'd eat emu and kangaroo in a second. i've eaten some strange stuff, i suppose, with raccoon at the top of the list, per local custom. i do have a fondness for sow-bugs and ants, however. (its been since i was a small child that i ate the bugs, except for wilderness survival in scouts).

Tonight the granddaughter is trying a new food. Goldfish, the cracker time. I love feeding her something new every day and she is a little food hoover

Back when I lived in Alabama a coworker invited me over for dinner. It was Possum. He told me the recipe was to start with fresh road kill possum, and then go to the day old bread store and get two loves of old stale bread. Put the cleaned possum in a big turkey roaster and shred one loaf of bread and stuff that into the possum and cook on low heat for several hours. Pull it out and take out the greasy bread and feed it to the dogs and put in the next loaf of stale bread. Cook for a few more hours then remove the greasy bread for the dogs to eat tomorrow. Then debone the possum and serve like a turkey. It tastes a bit gamey and it does not taste like chicken.

I dislike mustard flavors. Don't put mustard on my sandwich! If I am at someones home and the sandwiches are all made with mustard I will eat it to be polite if I am hungry. If I am paying for a sandwich it will be sent back in a heartbeat if it has mustard on it.
Hot English Mustard is da'biz.

Rick V 02-05-2013 03:14 PM

I have found a brown mustard with horse radish that I think I could drink right out of the bottle.

Love hot & sour soup too. I eat most things, except offal - unless it's liver been turned into pâté, or lips and bums turned into snags, or meat surprise turned into a maggot bag.

okay, azzy, after much research and overcoming my own denial, the pollution in SLC is as bad as china. today, it was undeniable. no fog, but i couldn't see downtown from my house.

another reason to get the hell out of here.

this is me saying that azzy had it right.
