You'll see.

I like that, Richard doesn't even hazard a guess and he still gets thumped on. :D

Jferr006 03-08-2013 03:42 PM

I fought for her, I REALLY truly did. :/ progress is progress right?

Rick V 03-08-2013 03:45 PM

Mind if I ask what the final straw was?

Outback Porsche 03-08-2013 03:46 PM

Gee, your really gunna miss all those belt re-tensions, belt and roller changes, not to mention the clutch job.

I just filtered myself better,

Jferr006 03-08-2013 03:52 PM

No thumping.

I'm still against it but since this is a joint venture iv realized I'm going to have to play along, finish it up and go buy my own hand selected stock 944. Two Porsches are better than one anyways.

Janet, once I got my girl running properly she really hasn't cost me a lot to keep her reliable (admittedly, it was a significant cost to get here). The persistence pays off.

I went through a little to make mine run. I bought her as a result of a money shift

Jferr006 03-08-2013 03:56 PM

I think this girl was severely neglected and left in the elements to rot too long. She probably should have been scraped.
Live and learn, I now know what to look for in the next one... Oh and there will be a next.

Rick V 03-08-2013 04:01 PM

I can see a blood blister or three working that table. :)

Outback Porsche 03-08-2013 04:04 PM

I like it. Clever engineering, but yes Rick, I agree - Keep your fingers clear.

I payed $100 for mine, did some wheelin' and dealin' and had mine running and DMV payed for $15 out of my pocket. Labor was free

Icemaster 03-08-2013 04:16 PM

I'm trying to figure out what's different.....

Rick V 03-08-2013 04:17 PM

Have you been splitting wood or hitchhiking on the interstate?

Icemaster 03-08-2013 04:23 PM

Nope. Maybe slept on it wrong, dunno. Started a new thing with the kids a little bit ago, but don't think that's the cause - would have hurt at the time.
