I may be fooling myself...but the math looks like it is possible if I can do everything right financially for a while. Both wife and I will have small retirements.

Rick V 03-27-2013 02:07 PM

You mean the wife has two small retirements and she is going to let you stop full time work

GH85Carrera 03-27-2013 02:47 PM

My last boss took early retirement at age 92. My goal is to retire before 92. My dad retired at age 49.

I guess I am shooting for mid sixties. (unless I can find a silent partner to open the guitar store I want)

Porsche-poor 03-27-2013 03:03 PM

Guitar and silent do not belong in the same sentence.

Rick V 03-27-2013 03:59 PM

Rick V 03-27-2013 04:40 PM

Vitamin E

Jim Richards 03-27-2013 05:32 PM

Make mine Vitamin P, please. :)

I got burned out painting the underneath side of the overhangs, so I demo'd a wall in the master bathroom shower. That just felt right. We're using the 2nd bathroom for showers, so we're not ripening the whole time we here.

Tweeze show up front row some day and you will have to fight off the teen girls who scream and yell for him.

I would win. I am an old lady and could sit on those skinny little Tweens. :)

Felisha... Yes, that was her name. Cute thing. All the girls there were cute. Liked how they were all different. What did you get to eat this time? :)

Jim Richards 03-27-2013 05:37 PM

Old? LOL. :p

tweezers74 03-27-2013 05:38 PM

Jim, sounds like you are working HARD! You sound like you are a really good handyman. I like doing stuff like that but don't have time or the energy lately. The boys keep me running.

Jim Richards 03-27-2013 05:41 PM

These vacations have been great for pushing our remodeling forward. My wife is a big help, too. The project would be extremely slow without her help.

No, she's not looking over my shoulder as I type. :D

tweezers74 03-27-2013 05:41 PM

Jim, compared to those girls, I am! Although, the other day I got mistaken for being "28". And today, I had another nurse ask me if I just finished school. When I told her I have been a nurse a long time and the year I graduated from nursing school, the cute young thing nodded her head and said,"yes, that is a loooooooooong time!"

We ate dinner the other night and the waitress was named Mercy. I commented that she had a local hospital named after her. She said she was born there and they named the place after her. She had to be under 22 years old.
