Fireball? Reminds me of a couple of redheads in my youth.

Rick V 03-30-2014 05:51 AM

Rats

I have a fuel leak on one of the hoses for the engine compartment. Crap.

I get towed home from the autocross for the first time ever.

porsche4life 03-30-2014 10:07 AM

I'd give ya a ride if I was there with the trailer.

Rick V 03-30-2014 10:26 AM

Is it a line or one of the banjo fittings?

GH85Carrera 03-30-2014 10:48 AM

I thing it is just a fitting. The engine is to hot to reach back there. It is the short line coming from the hard line the hooks from the line front to the harness.

Rick V 03-30-2014 10:52 AM

Not a tough fix. You can change those compression washers in the car

GH85Carrera 03-30-2014 01:33 PM

It is this fitting. It is just not tight.

I think if I remove the heater blower and duct I should have access. Can I just since it down?

Rick V 03-30-2014 01:57 PM

You can just tighten it up as long as being lose is the only issue. You will know soon enough

GH85Carrera 03-30-2014 02:05 PM

Yea, when I see that dumb ass mechanic that is responsible ( when I shave tomorrow) I will cuss at him.

Rick V 03-30-2014 02:12 PM

Give him what for

GH85Carrera 03-30-2014 03:00 PM

Any of you on facebook do me a favor and throw this guy a like. He is a good friend of mine. When I worked on Porsche at the dealer he and I were the entire Porsche team for the area. Super nice guy, lots of fun, and one of the best wrenches I have ever worked with.

HHI944 03-30-2014 04:54 PM

Done Rico!!
