hoegaardens are nice. one of my favorite wit style beers. blanche de chambly by unibroue is better, in my opinion. you gotta find the big bottle with the cork, however. served at 50-55F. delicious.

Very few choices at the liquor store that I found... I miss having a specs on my way home from work. :(

Still planning on it. Sometime in the week of the 29th. I may spend a day or two with our rep there too. Need to talk to him and find out if he will be in town that week.

Try not to cause too much trouble Jeff....

Ok.... So I'm starting to think Todd's house is Haunted...

Last week I get home around noon and put some laundry in, get laptop out of my room, etc. All right next to the garage. About 5 I go back there and I can hear a radio on in the garage. I'm home alone and the garage door is locked... So wtf? I talk to todd about it and he tells me that he hasn't used that radio in quite a while. It has a physical on off dial switch/ volume knob and it was cranked almost all the way when it was on.... Weird, I just chalked it up to the thunderstorm that had rolled through. Maybe todd had left the radio on some time and it had died?

Tonight I'm laying on the couch and at excatly 1am the vent light comes on over the stove... Stays on for 1 minute and goes off... Again, no where near the damn thing....

Just stay at my house a day or two. I've got a 93 yo Mom that does all that ghost stuff. She will turn her tv on and leave the room, then come tell me someone is in her room. If i go outside for any reason I have to make darn sure I've got keys cause she will close and lock the doors. I've also woken up to find all the lights on and all the doors open because she is looking for something, and she has no idea what the something is that she is looking for. I've also found milk and ice cream the cabinets and cereal in the freezer.

Just a few minutes ago I found her trying to feed a packet of Taco Bell hot sauce to the dog. The dog does not like Mexican or Chinese.

The cat is still with us. Getting very very skinny and so weak now she can't jump up on anything. Yesterday evening she tried 5 times to jump up on Mom's lap. Mom had to pick her up.

When we get Mom another cat I'm gonna train it to use the toilet so we won't have to have a stinky litter box.

Your going to wear pants?

RKDinOKC 07-13-2013 03:55 AM

oh yeah, good morning all. It's the WEEKEND!!!!!

Got the Rover back from the Car Stereo shop. The surround sound sounds Great! The touch screen is neat and despite some of the reviews it is easy to read, even in bright sunlight with my sunglasses on. If I change to source to my iPhone it automatically syncs up and starts playing whatever song is cued next. Haven't tried Pandora yet. It also mutes and rings when I get a call even if it is not playing a song from the phone. It has a USB jack that will work with thumb drives and can be used to charge my phone. That means I can power my radar detector from the cigarette lighter and still charge the phone.

Don't know why I would want to, but can watch DVD movies on it. I didn't get a camera for it, but it will also display a backup camera and can be hooked to the reverse lights to automatically come on.

RKDinOKC 07-13-2013 03:57 AM

Since it's a fancy dress birthday party, maybe everyone will be wearing their birthday suit?

Jim Richards 07-13-2013 04:34 AM

Fancy that.

Greetings from Columbia Md. (what an armpit) Beth and I are headed to Pittsburgh to see the grandkids.
Drove Lanna and the heavy rain we got hung up last night reminded me that slicks are not exactly the correct tires for road trips. Oh well kept it interesting, and some good comments like, "I'm not doing it, Lanna wants to go over there"
