Congrats on the excellent milestone, Rick!
We took our garage queen out for a spin, and ended up in the Angeles National Forest. CA highway 2. 50+ miles of twisties, with thousands of feet of elevation change. Total outing mileage almost 250 miles. Not too shabby. |
evening gents. and ladies.

Good morning all my wonderful peeps. :)
|
Morning Tweze, and the rest.
It is Friday! Yea. I got home yesterday the the magic AC elves had replaced the AC unit. Unfortunately they left me a large bill. :( I had a molar start hurting out of the blue on Tuesday. The pain kept getting worse so I cried uncle yesterday. A root canal fixed that. Dang that feels better for my mouth but OUCH for the checkbook. |
Just had a root canal last week......$1028.00 that could have been better spent.

It was not my first choice to spend a grand on that, but I still have the tooth to chew with, and the pain is gone. |
Morning everyone!
Sounds like a painful waste of money Pete. |
Morning, y'all. A little over twenty four hours left on this work-cation. Have to make them good ones.
Glad you guys had your teeth fixed. That pain plain sucks. Well, I,d better get cracking. |
I was driving in a residential neighborhood the other day and lookd down at the odometer and noticed I was coming up on this:
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1373636673.jpg No real significance. This is the 4th time that has come up. There is an invisible 3 to the left. I have owned my El Camino for 22 years now. |
Bet it will go faster than 115 with that new crate motor!
|
Running the plant today and not have the best day.

The original speedometer was one of the stupid DOT mandated 85 MPH max with a GIANT orange 55 on it. I hated it so much I sent it out and had it rebuilt to look like this. |
Well, not without being on a closed road course and with the proper safety equipment.
