I guess it is Friday there so it is laundry day.

I had to think about what day it was. :) Couldn't remember right away.

Had a GI Joe Jeep with trailer when I was a kid. It had a spring loaded cannon that shot rockets.

Don't know how many times I listened to the 45 record with real mercury mission recording from the space program.

I picked up a little noise maker cannon in Germany as a kid that used little round plastic caps. Turns out the old 6 shooter caps were the same size over here, so just clip them apart and I was good to go. There was a "wall" between the breach and barrel, but I had the brilliant idea to drill a smallish hole through it.... I don't remember why, but I had these little clay balls that fit the barrel perfectly. They shot out with some force once that hole was drilled. :D

Morning Y'all

RKDinOKC 03-07-2014 01:14 AM

Mertnin...

I had a Daniel Boone rifle, think it was called a cap lock rifle. You used the ram rod to push a cork ball down the muzzle, then put a cap on the plate and it fired like a flint lock. Got it when I was only 4. Lost the cork balls pretty quickly.

Well, dern it. Never heard back from the guy selling the cool wheels. Guess I will just have to keep looking. They don't come up for sale very often. If you hear of anyone selling a set of Gemballa Competion or Roock Competition wheels that look like this

Aggggghhhhhh!

Emergency. Emergency. The internet is down at my office! The phone lines are down as well but who cares. ;)

I am reduced to using my cell phone to check Pelican. I have to use my cell phone to connect to Pandora as well. The worst part is we have a metal building and the cell signal is weak back in the corner by my desk. Only two bars!

Oh the humanity!

RKDinOKC 03-07-2014 04:46 AM

My internet winked off for about 10 minutes about 1 hour ago. Unplugged the modem, plugged it back in, after a couple of minutes all was hunky dory.

Porsche-poor 03-07-2014 06:57 AM

well at least the computer at work can still get here. the cell phone refuses to let me see the site. time to go skeet shooting with it.

GH85Carrera 03-07-2014 07:32 AM

We are still off line. We did get them to forward the phones to our cell phone.

I am real glad I have my smart phone.

GH85Carrera 03-07-2014 09:39 AM

Life is worth living again, the internet is finally back!

It was arduous surviving 1/2 a day with no high speed internet. I likely will have to go home early to unwind from the horrible stress. ;)
