Thanks for the memories. :) In fact, Sidney was quite the opposite. He was forward but not creepy. I turned him down for quite some time but eventually his charm got to me.

Sid has charm?

:D

Even though the weather today should be pretty nice, Lu kicked me in the butt the morning to arrange travel to SoCal at the end of the month. We're ready go...now! :)

It was so nice when we were there last weekend even though it was rainy. We were thinking about going to legoland but I am gonna go broke after going to Texas and Canada this year with the boys. Legoland will have to wait until next year.

pete3799 03-08-2014 08:18 AM

It has finally broken 40*. I'm headed to the beach too..............oh wait.....

Noah930 03-08-2014 08:24 AM

Froze my feet off at cars and coffee but had a good showing, I even introduced the 2.0 California. There were some disappointed folks when they realized what it was. I am such a dick.

That's simple. You've all become boring old geezers like me. :p

Morning all, so goes the moving at work, started Friday, and as the mini "project manager" for the build and reconfiguration of our new offices, I am also there all weekend, so much fun. Yesterday I spent all day unpacking "stuff" so that it was put in the right cupboards etc, the kitchen the stationary, the papers, forms printer cartridges blah blah blah, putting up paintings, certificates, unpacking the bosses stuff, so that he doesn't have to do it himself (sucking up).

My body is killing me, all that carrying and bending, I am not as young as I used to be.

a Geezer.

Having a quiet coffee at home with Stevo, until I head back there today, and I am very busy at work so will be there all next week too. It is a long two weeks.

azzarule 03-09-2014 06:09 AM

Good luck Rick and Beth, I hope someone comes in with an offer to good to refuse.

azzarule 03-09-2014 06:09 AM

Then when you go left we can come and visit.

I agree.

Mrs. Carrera decided we needed to get up and around and go eat breakfast. Burp.

Then she decided we need new posts of the fishing line she strings in a star pattern above the pond. It is supposed to keep the blue herons away from the fish. We lost 5 big fish once to a blue heron and I saw one back there on two occasions before the line went up. Anyway the old posts she has bought at the garden centers are plastic covered thin wall steel. It rusts out in a yoder or two. Two of them fell over this winter.

I told her there is a simple "cure" for the problem. Solid copper grounding rod. I now have three pieces of 8ft rod. Whack in half drill a hole for the line pound in the ground. The solid copper was 32 bucks but they will last a few lifetimes.
