You need to put on boots BEFORE you kick his butt.

Pole 1/Tweeze 0?

Not going to ask how you broke your foot playing nurse with Sidney, especially since there may have been a wheelchair, white stockings, a stethoscope. and ace bandages involved.

Getting to where my TV with Internet is making Internet even more important. Just finished watching the last season of Corner Gas off YouTube on my big screen TV with internet. Also find that most first run movies are posted on YouTube in HD even before you can rent them pay per view. Watched RUSH that way.

Oh, and Woo Hoo !he guy contacted me and is selling me the wheels, he had the flu.

How did you manage to break your foot Tweeze?

porsche4life 03-07-2014 11:07 AM

She fell doing a pole routine. I saw her do it, heard a sound, but since she kept going I thought she couldn't have broken it. She walked around fine, but it was starting to get black/blue late last night and this am, so she went and had it checked out.

Sure.

That's the ticket, yea right.

I think Richard's version is closer.

Now you can play the naughty nurse! :p Just don't break yer foot!

I was re-reading the "Whose Who" thread to see the people and I found these three posts. :D

Just catching up on the thread, thanks for all your posts some really terrific people here! As for Sid, well he's always been my bud and I just burst out laughing when I read this! True of character ;) You're all bark and no bite tho bud.

Cheers!

I guess we know he ain't all bark and no bite after all.

Wow, that sounds really creative. Never would have thought of working a pole routine into playing nurse. I think the nursing volunteers are called Candy Stripers, not Candy the Stripper.

GH85Carrera 03-07-2014 12:42 PM

It could be the trapeze catch he missed.

That is why I had to get a new hip, I should have had a net under the trapeze in the bedroom.

nynor 03-07-2014 12:48 PM

TMI. just saying.

I thought it was you couldn't put your feet behind your head anymore! ;)

GH85Carrera 03-07-2014 02:14 PM

Well that too. I kept missing the bounce from the trampoline to the trapeze over the bed.

this man is a virtuoso:

saw this live, in 2008. billy idol is a class act, on stage, and encouraged everyone in the band to showcase their abilities.

Yes. Was practicing a move where you flip upside down and I was practicing (and failing) the dismount and landed on my foot the wrong way. Sidney heard the pop. I didn't. I just thought it was really sore. Went ahead to my dance class and danced for another hour and a half (and also did the flip and dismount correctly in class WITH the broken foot). And next morning, yeah, broken foot.

Sidney is a wonderful nurse. :)

And continue with your theories. Quite entertaining.

RKDinOKC 03-07-2014 08:12 PM

Oh sure it's all grins and giggles till someone doesn't stick their dismount and breaks something.

Flieger 03-07-2014 09:37 PM

I hope you mend quickly, Tweeze.

Rick V 03-08-2014 02:36 AM

Tweeze, leaving your foot in someone's a55 is just an expression. Next time Sid steps out of line just unleash the mighty back hand. It is much safer for you that way.
I mean hope you get back on your feet (pun intended) soon

Thanks for the memories. :) In fact, Sidney was quite the opposite. He was forward but not creepy. I turned him down for quite some time but eventually his charm got to me.
