I got this 'ozark trail' flashlight at walmart on sale....pretty nifty, bright as heII and cheap....looks and performs kinda like the stream light strion, but I paid $30 instead of $200....we shall see how it compares in regards to durability.

Magnesium Citrate is better is you are constipated.

Jim Richards 03-28-2014 12:41 PM

Indeed. We're on the supershuttle to our house. If I get constipated, I'll be sure to tell you. :)

Jim Richards 03-28-2014 12:55 PM

Oh yeah.

GH85Carrera 03-28-2014 01:00 PM

Lets think.....

It is 4:00 PM and I have had to slave away here for two days by myself.

I guess I am in charge of everyone today and I think everyone should go home 30 minutes early.

Everyone here agrees.

I am outta here.

HHI944 03-28-2014 02:44 PM

I can draw a bead on 'man sized objects' Does that make me an artist as well?

I'm being totally serious. When my dad goes on his week long photo adventures, he almost always borrows my D300 body as a backup. On lighter trips, he brings a compact Leica as a backup for his D800. He and I both make backups of the cf/sd cards nightly as well. Lastly, it's better to have several smaller cards, than one big one. Small card fails during the day and you lose a few pix, large card fails and you potentially lose everything (if you don't back up at the end of the day).

This is the light. ... seems pretty sturdy. ...750 lumens rechargeable. .http://i179.photobucket.com/albums/w...psbv7vqtoi.jpg

I don't do enough photo worthy stuff to worry about it

afternoon/evening all.

Tomorrow should be interesting. First gig with a fill in bassist.

If you are drawing flies try standing next to someone else might not be you.....

So I slept through the Northridge quake and I haven't felt any of the smaller ones we've had since 1994. But tonight I was on the second floor and about 20 miles from a 5.3 and on soft ground. Happened about 9:11pm. Got a good ride out of it. P wave, S waves, and surface waves all obvious. Even a little aftershock. My parents' place is in the Santa Monica Mountains which are too solid to transmit anything below a 7 apparently, as they did not feel a thing.

slodave 03-28-2014 08:47 PM

The one a week ago or so was in the Santa Monica Mtns, 5 miles down and it could be felt. :D

I heard one scientist say the LA area has a 99% chance of a major earthquake in the next 10 years. I just hope it does not happen when I am in Monterey in June.

azzarule 03-29-2014 09:47 AM

well I hope it doesn't happen just after Jim finishes his house!!

RKDinOKC 03-29-2014 10:21 AM

Thought we had an earthquake the other day, but checked my drawers and it was just a fart.
