good call but she will tell you its been 29 for the last 17 years.

GH85Carrera 06-05-2014 07:30 AM

I always liked the way Ronald Regan put it. He would celebrate the 43rd anniversary of his 29th birthday, or whatever year it was. That is how I put it. ;)

Porsche-poor 06-05-2014 07:33 AM

LOL I'll tell her that.

GH85Carrera 06-05-2014 07:46 AM

Yea, if she tells everyone she is celebrating the 17th anniversary of her 29th birthday most of them will get a glazed look in their eyes. Some will whip out their cell phone to run the calculator app. A few will know how to add 17 and 29 in their heads.

RKDinOKC 06-05-2014 07:47 AM

Tell her I says Happy Freakin Burpday.

uhhh, 32? It's okay to be 32 idn't it?

Porsche-poor 06-05-2014 07:54 AM

wish I was 32......then again probably not.

Physically it would be nice to be younger no question.

If I had to give up the things I own now and the knowledge of what I have learned since then I don't know if I would want to go back. I remember being 32. Single life was fun. BTDT don't want to go back. I remember being real broke back then. I did not like that part at all.

Porsche-poor 06-05-2014 08:05 AM

I was 32 in 1999. Connor was a year old and I had already been married 10 years. The 911 had not even been thought of yet.

RKDinOKC 06-05-2014 08:11 AM

I am not at liberty to discuss what I was doing when I was 32.

GH85Carrera 06-05-2014 08:18 AM

At 32 I had owned my 914 for 13 years, and my house 5 years. I was on the hunt for female companionship most of the time. I was really broke but happy enough. I started shooting weddings on the side of my regular job for extra money.

I was married at 22. Day after the wedding we moved to Tacoma. Going on 25 years this month.

RKDinOKC 06-05-2014 08:39 AM

The lawyers said it was best if I just say I don't recall.

Congrats of 25 years of marriage.

We are not there yet. We got a late start on the marriage thing.

A buddy of mine met his dream girl when they were still in grade school. They each got permission from their parents to get married when they were just 15. They had to live at her parents house until they turned 21. He became a well know architect and has his own business.

After 25 years of marriage they had never spent one night apart. He had a business trip to Europe and it was hard on both of them. They have been married for over 60 years now.

We did not get married until our late 30s.

Porsche-poor 06-05-2014 08:47 AM

Well you are still married so what if you got a late start.
