Now I'm just hoping RR V happens in 2015, not 2014. I don't think Thuy has enough vacation time to join me this year.

If it's 2014 (won't be b/c of the Parade), then just go with me and we'll make it a bachelor's weekend. (Shhh. Mrs. Noah isn't on Pelican.)

Haha. Ya, I'd just have to fly in for the weekend if it's this year. And the mrs is going to be mad, you offering to take someone else to Monterey.

What is this thing you call Vacation.

All i know of it is the number 72 under the heading Vac Avail on my pay stub. Last month it was 90, but this month is my anniversary so it gets reset to the number of hours i had when they made the rule you can't keep over 40 days a year.

Don't get to take much vacation having to take care of Mom. Tried to take one for the entire month last Nov. but couldn't find anyone to take care of her and she freaks out if she is not home at night so couldn't take her with me either. If I am going to be around the house anyway, it's not much of a break to NOT work.

Oooo, ooo, I know! SmileWavy It's something to with taking off from your day job to do painting, drywalling, electrical, rip out old flooring, insulating the attic, etc., right? Did I get it right? Do I win a prize? http://forums.pelicanparts.com/suppo...s/boldblue.gif

slodave 06-17-2014 03:03 AM

Yer doing that by choice! :)

Jim Richards 06-17-2014 03:07 AM

Nah, somewhere along the line I was badly trained. Yeah, that's it.

Jim Richards 06-17-2014 03:07 AM

So Dave, night owl or early bird?

slodave 06-17-2014 03:12 AM

I go to sleep when the sun comes up. :)

Jim Richards 06-17-2014 03:12 AM

Aaah, vampire...cool.

slodave 06-17-2014 03:21 AM

I just roll with it these days. :^^

I love garlic. I have Holy Water and I can tell you two things... One: It's been sitting around for years and no algae or other growth. Two: It has not affect on my skin. I've even had a drink from a Vatican fountain that was supposed to promote immortality. Yes, I am still here - maybe it worked?!? But it hasn't killed me either.

Jim Richards 06-17-2014 03:27 AM

So, you're like some 500 year old dude, right?

slodave 06-17-2014 03:31 AM

Depends on how I feel when I wake up.... Weather greatly affects the outcome as well.

Jim Richards 06-17-2014 03:39 AM

Yeah, works the same for us mortals. I've gotta run, ciao.

slodave 06-17-2014 03:40 AM

Ciao, babe. :)

Dave, your sleep routine will be perfect when/if you come to Oz :D

slodave 06-17-2014 04:52 AM

I see the dawn's early light! Night! :)

That I will, Jeff.

Outback Porsche 06-17-2014 05:05 AM
