Jim, What's your method to paint railing spindles? I wanted to claw my eyes out last night, got 23 done in 45 mins, not too bad?

Apologies, this is me, the mistress and Jr. Tossed it up in the snowy Porsche thread too.

Wife snapped it.

Don't listen to Glen, a true gentleman drives a black 911.

First world problems...I wish my Porsche wasn't red...

PO painted over (IMO) beautiful Cashmere Beige...one day, it will shine again!

GH85Carrera 12-11-2014 04:34 AM

I know 911s have great heaters but the roof-on when snow is on the ground is a good general rule of thumb. ;)

911SauCy 12-11-2014 04:38 AM

My heat is in a box in the basement. The top has seen better days, as for now, she's a perma-vert.

In other news, this lady I work with just told me she can hear the trees crying outside (one is being cut). Perhaps she had something a little extra with her coffee this am?

Rick V 12-11-2014 04:42 AM

Hey trees are decent people

What shade of red it is? Arrest me red? Hello officer red? It's faster because it is red, red?

GH85Carrera 12-11-2014 05:04 AM

So a convertible with no heat in CT!

So you get to drive it 6 months out of the year?

I will be making a trip up to VT in 2016 for Porsche Parade. My plan is to hit all the states in the NE.

It should be easy to knock off more states in a few days than just driving across Montana.

The remaining states will take a lot of driving.

I try to get 7-8 in. First drive this year was early April, drove it last weekend, and will try to get in another this weekend.

The excessive sand and salt on the roads is really what I avoid. Fur lined, leather, bomber hat and a cigar keep ya warm with the top off

I just rock a hoodie and cigar in the Lotus.

I just use the headers 4" from my feet in the Cobra, though it doesn't help your hands much.

Our 911 is white. It needs a respray and will probably be white again. If I were to keep it long term it would be Arena Red.

Rick V 12-11-2014 12:43 PM

Well it sounded like a rather large and juicy bug was living in that last piece of wood I chucked on the fire

flipper35 12-11-2014 12:52 PM

Well, it adds a little humidity for you then.

Rick V 12-11-2014 12:55 PM

Dude I live in Va. To borrow a phrase from Seahawk, it is air you can wear

HHI944 12-11-2014 01:21 PM

Holy crap that little truck is nuts.....there's a live oak near the house that leans at about 60 degrees.....friggin truck made it about 4ft up before it fell off

Rick V 12-11-2014 02:23 PM
