Good morning normal people, good evening Jeff! ;)

Morning Glen

Not hiding, just busy with the silly season. Was only saying last night out at dinner, 'We ate at home on Monday night, we don't do that again this week till Sunday'.

I'm glad there's only one more week of work left for the year.

Oi!

Heheheheheh. Actually, I'm cool with that.

We missed out on this years work chrissy doo last Friday on account of my sore face. On Monday at work, the admin chick (who's actually not a bad cricket score) said 'I missed you, you usually do something funny or stupid'.

I wasn't sure how to take that, is that a compliment or not?

Awwww, how cute......dumfuch neighbor is blasting his ghetto cRap so loud I can feel the bass in my house........time for transition drills in the driveway

RKDinOKC 12-10-2014 06:43 AM

Depends...missed you throwing or shooting?

What are transition drills and do they make noise also? Dija see the movie "Neighbors," that's how it started, noisy neighbors.

RKDinOKC 12-10-2014 06:51 AM

Always thought firing a couple of blanks in the air would get just about any loud music turned down. Being careful not to be seen doing it of course. Think discharging a firearm law includes blanks.

110db of Copa Cabana will cure that.

We had neighbors at our old house that would do that. We would politely ask them to turn it down and when they refused, the deputy sheriff asked them to turn it down. Same neighbors that had the barking dog that we got the bark stop for.

GH85Carrera 12-10-2014 07:54 AM

At our old house we had some stupid noisy neighbors. They would have the music cranked up stupid loud and a party going late at night. All the other neighbors called the cops and the the music would go down. The cops would leave and the noise was back up.

The next morning was always the time I would tune up my chain saw. My back yard was a hill above their back bedroom window. Two of the neighbors came over and I tuned up their chain saw and we had a triple chain saw harmony.

My old house we had that issue once.............once. They hired a DJ and had a rather loud party that went long into the night. Since there were no disturbing the peace in the county laws it was useless to call the law so I waited.
At the crack of dawn I had a few rather loud guitar amps daisy chained together and a Dean guitar that was built for nothing but metal and I did my best impression of hendricks possible. I played for about an hour, it was classic. There were people passed out all over the yard and they were doing the duck and cover thing as I was doing the stress the tubes thing.
Yeah we only had that problem once. It was funny because the lady who lived there came over later that afternoon and apologized for her party and said she liked the way I handled it.

Transition drills involve me standing in the driveway in full kit (body armor, AR and hand spoon) and practicing my transition from AR to hand spoon......over and over again until someone calls security.

We had some idiots that would party hard any night of the week/weekend. I called the cops several times and it would still continue regular.

After one night of listening duff duff music and Hogs doing burnouts I had enough. After about an hour after it all went quiet (about mid morning on a Sunday), I started my mower and put it between the steel colourbond fence and the house with the throttle on full, and walked away. The sound reverberated between the fence and the house. It stayed that way till the tank ran dry.

The next week was quiet till the Friday night, again with the duff duff music all night long. I got up early that Saturday morning and got out my circular saw and a big bundle of scrap MDF. I set myself up beside that same steel fence and cut all that MDF up into very small pieces for several hours. We had no more late night parties next door and the idiots moved soon after that.

RKDinOKC 12-10-2014 09:30 AM

had a neighbor 4 houses down the street throw a late and loud party with a live band one friday nite. A couple days before they invited everyone in the neighborhood and had free drinks and food. It was still going at 3am and nobody complained.

It was a one time deal though.

flipper35 12-10-2014 09:35 AM

Our nearest neighbor where we are at now is over 1/4 mile away and he is a farmer and gets up early. Good people. Next nearest building is over 1/2 mile away.

If you are driving near OKC you have a free bed and bathroom at your disposal.

Rick V 12-10-2014 10:03 AM

Thanks Glen, I will hold you to that when I come back and bring Lanna out, that is going to be the fun sight seeing trip. This one is going to be the down and dirty one, through Tenn and texas. Yeah not looking forward to texas but hey they have decent speed limits. It is 21,000 miles one way, I am figuring 2.5 days, maybe less since I won't have to stop every 37 mins for Beth to inspect a bathroom. I have been to every single bathroom from the UP of Mish to Greenville SC
