Here we go again, just practicing for a couple of days from now

Oh Haha 04-25-2015 02:46 AM

Weather is going to be great here today. Taking my son to lunch whilst the girls do girly stuff.

Rick V 04-25-2015 03:43 AM

We are socked in for a rainy weekend, but hey, it ain't snow.

RKDinOKC 04-25-2015 06:00 AM

Send it over here, Rick!

It was nice to get settled in here and maybe knock out a little work on our 1st full day here.

Rick V 04-25-2015 07:12 AM

We had sleet, WTF

Jim Richards 04-25-2015 07:23 AM

Uh, what I said about sending it here...never mind.

HHI944 04-25-2015 07:37 AM

Just rain here..

Rick V 04-25-2015 09:43 AM

Well just for grins I hauled all of my spoons out for a photo op for a friend. I laid them on the bed and wouldn't ya know it, I need a bigger damn bed.

Jim Richards 04-25-2015 09:49 AM

Snuggling in be with your spoons? I guess happiness is a warm spoon.

Rick V 04-25-2015 09:54 AM

Naw, just what I thought was a good place for a photo op. See what thinking gets me

RKDinOKC 04-25-2015 10:58 AM

When I was looking at houses...One had a back wall of a closet in the master bedroom that was a hidden door to a walk in gun safe. The owner/builder said if I bought the house he would show me where the other safe was and that I wouldn't be able to find it otherwise.

Rick V 04-25-2015 11:05 AM

I just secured the closet in my studio, thats good enough, I'm insured

RKDinOKC 04-25-2015 11:50 AM

It was a really cool well built house. The outside stud walls were 6 in instead of 4 and the entire attic was insulated and sheeted with plywood. It even had a semi attached (breezeway) 2 story 2 wide 4 car garage with a 2 post lift and a hoist and workshop space. The killer was the long side of the lot was on a 4 lane busy street and the extra garage/workshop completely filled what would have been the yard. Location, location, location.
Just don't understand why somone would put THAT much into building a home on such a busy street?

Jim Richards 04-25-2015 04:32 PM

Yes, it actually rains in Southern California. Oh the huge manatee!

Actually, it was a short, light sprinkle. No flooding ensued.

It's about to rain like hell here.

Blue cheese burgers, wings and a beer for dinner! Woohoo!

Anyone think there's a possibility I wouldn't completely lose my mind if I were stuck on a large container ship for 2-3 months?

RKDinOKC 04-25-2015 05:09 PM

In a container, or free roam of the ship?

GH85Carrera 04-25-2015 05:19 PM

We had wonderful weather all day.
The suck part was the autocross was today and I did not get to play. I had to go 30 miles with Mrs Carrera to pick up a rain barrel. By the time I got it all set up and the downspout and the diversion for the rain barrel set up it was afternoon. Golly it was fun.

Now when it rains we will have some rain in the barrel for Mrs Carrera to water her plants.
