Okay, you got me...besides the elderly, it used to be the middle aged Asian women that can barely see over the steering wheel that drive slow. Think it's the barely see over the steering wheel thing.

I love the media and the lack of error checking. either that, or this guy has a huge hand spoon. I wonder what the magazine capacity is?

"They asked me, 'Are you the S-O-B that shot my drone?' and I said, 'Yes I am,'" he said. "I had my 40 mm Glock on me and they started toward me and I told them, 'If you cross my sidewalk, there's gonna be another shooting.'"

Even around the local roads I have had others driving under the limit. C'mon, 35 or 40 in 55 zone?!!

Well there is your problem ! The roads in Michigan are like cobble stone streets they are so rough, so people are driving slower. On a recent trip North of Detroit we were all getting car sick from riding in my F-250 pulling a 30' camper over all the expansion joints and pot holes, and as soon as we came into Ohio on I-75 everybody gave a collective sigh of relief at the smooth roads.

Dude, 40mm is no joke

https://xbradtc.files.wordpress.com/...m203-nsn-a.jpg

You're gonna have a bad day if you catch one of those to the chest, with or without body armor.

flipper35 07-30-2015 10:22 AM

I know it isn't a joke, but a 40mm Glock on his hip? That's what I find funny.

My mother-in-law's husband was hit with a willy pete out of an M79. The scars are not pretty. Good thing it grazed him in the fleshy part of his side.

HHI944 07-30-2015 10:33 AM

Ouch...

It ain't a glock, but I present to you, the 40mm grenade launcher pustol with aimpoint sight......because MURICA!

Sweet. Our 5 year old cannot see that picture.

HHI944 07-30-2015 10:57 AM

Awwww, c'mon, it'd only cost about 3k with tax stanp to put that together.....

GH85Carrera 07-30-2015 11:00 AM

It for sure is something everyone needs!

I wonder what a 40 MM round costs?

HHI944 07-30-2015 11:06 AM

Depends on what kind of round.
Paint marker rounds aren't horrible. Loading your own can be done fairly cheaply.
The fun rounds aren't as expensive as you'd think, but most manufacturers won't sell to an individual, they require a $200 tax each and there are tons of regulations of storage and transport that are quite costly to comply with.

HHI944 07-30-2015 11:07 AM

The best bet overall would be to buy a 37mm 'flare' launcher, then register it as a destructive device and shoot beehive rounds out of it.

RKDinOKC 07-30-2015 11:25 AM

Wonder if you could get a jammer that would cause the drone to lose it's signal?

No doubt is is possible. Not legally however.

I suspect the government is working HARD on anti drone technology. The first time one lands at the feet of a politician and has a grenade strapped to it all hell will break lose. I also figure someone will come up with a hunter killer drone. Just send it up and have it hone in on the signal from the other drone.

Like many things in life a few dummies will ruin it for the rest of us.

There are instructions on the interwebz involving cannibalizing a microwave.....but its illegal and potentially dangerous to any other craft in the line of sight

No argument from me on this. Most roads here suck a$$. Good thing they keep working on them year after year. One of these times they may get it right.

You don't know how much you sound like him there!

The issue I have with the NFA tax is they now have a lot of info on me. There are some things out there that would be worth it if I could afford it. Destructive device is another tax isn't it? Anything over .50" if I remember that correctly?

Yea, when we were in Michigan the roads sucked worse than any other state I have ever been in. On one of our tours was came across a dump truck with 4 people standing in the bed. They pulled up to a pot hole and everyone in the truck threw down some asphalt toward the pothole. Then they drove away. They made no effort in any way to clean out the dirt and crud from the hole first. They made no effort to pack down any of the fresh asphalt. There were little pieces of asphalt all over the road and almost none in the hole. It was an amazing display of wasting tax dollars in action. Five people on the payroll, one dump truck and a load of asphalt all doing nothing positive.

I35 in Iowa took out the outer bearing in the 9" rear axle in the Cobra. It was like riding in a paint shaker.
