Good Friday morning everyone.

It looks like we made it thru July with no 100 degree days. We are way above normal rainfall and everything is GREEN.

That sound like a serious medical problem. You should call in sick and rest up. :p

So, 12 slices of bacon, 1 egg over easy in the bacon pan, 1 slice of toast n grape jam and a TALL glass if ice cold milk. Oh okay, 8 slices of bacon, I shared with Pepper when I let her slick up my plate. Don't need to rinse for the dish washer any more. Camber didn't clean plates very well, but pepper sure does.

There would be a few fully automatic spoons in my future.

A BAR would be at or near the top for me. Don't know why, just would be. Then a Ma Deuce since I would have land to shoot it if I started playing the lotto so I could win, or better yet, someone bought me a winning ticket.

Ma gets really expensive to feed.

An M60E6 and an MP5 would make me happy.....

Can't they just print to PDF for now and email it? Tell them this is a good excuse to go paperless!

If you had a winning ticket, Ma food wouldn't be too bad.

Emily wants an M60 for airsoft. Adjustable rate of fire from 600rpm to 900rpm. The less realistic feature is a magazine that holds thousands of rounds and you can fire off 3500 with one pull of the trigger with no damage. She seems to think not many would approach her position.

Walter shudda bought a lottery ticket or two.

ckelly78z 07-31-2015 10:34 AM

Speaking of "winning tickets", I just started in on a lottery pool at work....gonna win my share of $25,000,000 tomorow night.........should be enough to retire early.

GH85Carrera 07-31-2015 10:45 AM

I was in line wasting my money on more beer. The dude in front of me handed a wad of scratch off tickets to the cashier to scan for winners. He won 4 dollars on the stack. He then bought several other scratch off tickets and some lottery tickets. He spent $40 and walked out. Just a tax on the math impaired.

I then wasted my 11 bucks on some beer and left.

RKDinOKC 07-31-2015 11:34 AM

Bought $20 worth of scratch offs. Just did it for fun, not expecting to win anything. Was watching the online stats for the different scratch offs and buying the ones that had the most prizes still available. Won more than I lost for a while. My scrach off winnings got up to $200 a couple of times. Played almost every day for 3 months before losing back down to $0 and quit. That $20 bucks kept me entertained for 3 months.

I kept all the loser scratch offs in case I won big I could take the cost off all the tickets off the amount I would be taxed on. The store clerk would play when I came in and saved and gave me his and other people's loser tickets. I had a LOT of tickets I tossed when I quit playing.

GH85Carrera 07-31-2015 11:50 AM

The math just does not work out for me to play.

I have been to 14 Porsche Parades and I have only "won" a child's t-shirt so far. Randall and his family went this year. They won several nice door prizes.

RKDinOKC 07-31-2015 11:53 AM

Last November when I went to the 928 gathering in Marble Falls TX I won the big door prize. A set of Koni Red Dampers for my GTS. Worth about half what the trip cost me including cost of the nurse I hired to stay with Mom. I was so surprised they had to call my ticket number 3 times before I realized I had won.

11bucks on beer?!!!! What are you drinking? A 6 of Stella is only $7.99 here.

I've never won contests and drawings but I have spent $2 a week since I quit work. I play the MI only lottery.

I figure most folks will be trying for the big payout, I don't need that much to be happy.

RKDinOKC 07-31-2015 12:39 PM

Blue Moon tonite. Won't happen again until January 2018.

flipper35 07-31-2015 01:03 PM

That will make an interesting backdrop for supper. Emily wants to do camp food and is in charge. Sounds like a form of pizza in a dutch oven and maybe biscuit dough wrapped around a stick and maybe camp fries in the skillet. All heavy cast iron stuff to cook on the coals from the firewood. She is supposed to give my wife the list of stuff in case we don't have some of it on hand. Cooking a biscuit on a stick sound interesting. Should put some cheddar in the dough and have cheese biscuits but they won't be the good ones like in North Carolina. I miss those a lot. Might have to take a vacation out that way just to get some again.

It was a 12 pack! :)

Now that Mrs. Carrera is retired we can get to a popular restaurant early enough to get in. I left for home a little early and we headed off to eat. The place is called Texas Roadhouse and I had a really good prime rim. Burp.

The place has s large waiting area and it was full as we left. I always have to fight the urge to burp real loud as we leave.

pete3799 07-31-2015 03:14 PM

We've got a Texas Roadhouse here too (well...... it's 50 some odd miles from here).
Good food.
