I do!!!

Seriously, why would anyone need a gun with an effective point target range of 1 mile? Oh yeah, cuz it's awesome!

Have you seen what .338 at medium range does to a coyote? Hit it right and it'll rip it in half.

Sold the mini ACOG and ordered the new Trijicon MRO. Been thinking about going back to a red dot for a few weeks now and Trijicon introducing one just sealed the deal.

Grrrrrrr talk about frustrating.... Been working with this client a little over a week now. We've looked at about 12 houses now. He wants less than 5 yrs old single story, with all the bells and whistles. Every house we looked at was nice but not good enough because they only had 9' ceilings not 10' ceilings. I explained to him that for 300k in the area he was looking, none of the builders were doing 10' ceilings. If he wanted that there were some available but they were mostly two stories, and some were older than 5 years. So today he sends me a house he wants to see. I look it up and it's a two story, 10' ceilings in parts of the house, great room vaulted to the second story peak. I think finally he's found the perfect house. It was a bit older than he had mentioned but looked top notch. We get there and start looking at it and I'm thinking this has to be the one. He looks at me, gee this house feels massive! What must the electricity bill be. I about jumped off the top of the stairs. After we go look at another house he decides maybe he could do 9' ceilings after all. So now let's see how many of the first 10 we saw we will have to go back to... I knew when I took this client that he would make me work for it. It's going to be a fun one. Just trying to keep it under 30 houses to find the right one.

Your client is just a slow learner with a serious listening deficiency. I hope he can find his right house soon.

We'll soon have our condo listed for sale. Our realtor was real happy that it will show as nicely as a new condo.

Jim Richards 09-03-2015 02:34 AM

Hi Jeff. Did you manage to get your finger back?

Outback Porsche 09-03-2015 02:51 AM

Eventually, but the woodpecker said...God bless my sole...

Outback Porsche 09-03-2015 02:56 AM

I've been singing a little ditty about the woodpecker to my granddaughter (much to her mothers disgust). GD be cackling :D

Morning everyone. Evening Jeff.

I would think shoving you finger in a woodpecker hole your finger might get pecked and turn your finger into a pecker. The woodpecker would be the peckee.

GH85Carrera 09-03-2015 11:08 AM

Unfortunately not.

Mrs. Carrera is of course at home and the internet is down and the cable TV is not working properly. Most adults can handle a simple phone call to tech support. So guess what, I "get" to call tech support and talk to my wife on the phone at the same time. I have no explanation for refusal to talk to someone on the phone. Women's logic is all I can figure.

Some issue were resolved but more challenges remain.

I think you summed up guys problems since after caveman days. During the caveman days guys just clubbed the women because they couldn't understand them.

Outback Porsche 09-03-2015 11:43 AM

Hmmm, our river dwellers must still think it's caveman days.

Morning all, it's Friday. Woohoo

RKDinOKC 09-03-2015 12:02 PM

Last time I called cable tech support it didn't sound like I was talking off shore. But you do have to wade thru the menus to get to an actual person.

GH85Carrera 09-03-2015 12:39 PM

The tech support folks for Cox are here in the USA and speak normal English. The pain is my system is a Tivo not the box that Cox rents. I own the box and there is no monthly charge for it. Just the cable service. Tivo has a lot better capabilities than the Cox equipment. I do have to use a Cable card and a tuning adapter that belong to Cox. It is a strange hookup and it works great most of the time. When we have a problem the tech support folks always assume I have their equipment so it takes a while to get them to understand they can't help me they have to transfer me to the cable card department. There is no way to just call the cable card folks direct.
