It's Morning!
Chatted with the guy that does the "Callaway" twin turbo on the 928. We had discussed that since I had the motor apart it would be very easy to go back with lower compression pistons and o-ringed head gaskets to build the motor up optimal for a twin turbo. Told him that since the values were way up and after the $70K offer on my car I just couldn't go with the mods required for the turbo. Just din't make sense to spend $20K to turbo a car to immediately lose $40K in value. He said he would sell the 94 and use the monies to buy an 87 5 speed due to it's lower 9:1 compression, turbo it, and pocket some leftover cash. As expected he is ate up with the turbo thing. Me personally I would want to build the optimal turbo 928 which would mean putting lower compression pistons in a GTS. Mine just happens to be one that is more collectible so not a viable candidate without losing quite a bit of value. |

It is d-d-d-d-dam cold |
Did notice it were fiddy sebin degrees out totin trash an cyclables to the curb this mornin. Made me almost light up the fireplace just so I could stand in front of it, bask in it's warmth, and go "mmmmm, warm."

Morning all.
I love the cooler weather but it just drives home the fact that my shorts are going in the drawer soon and I have to wear jeans instead. :( I love my shorts. Jeans just feel so formal and dressy. |
For some reason 54°F comes to mind as the lower limit for shorts comfort.

Back from Bend. Took forever Friday night to get there. 4hours alone to get to Portland and that is usually only a 2.5 hours drive.
Went to see the wife's father. He is not in the best way right now. He is probably about 6' but currently only 100. The doc's are making a guess of 6 months to a year at best. You know its not looking good when he sends me home with two of his prized long spoons. A 30:30 that may be 112 years old and one from 1976 a bicentennial one that has never bee used. |
Sounds like a good weekend for the lot of you.
I took our daughter to see the Martian. It was good but a lot of the humor and science was missing from the book. We were awakened Sunday morning about 2:00 by a little boy telling us he didn't feel good. He did make it to the bathroom before relieving his stomach of its contents but it makes for a long morning. I saw Tremors 5 was on Netflix. I had lost track after the first two. It was sunny but in the 50s this weekend and now up to 70* today. I guess it is time to close the pool. We have a few places to hike up hills here in WI and this is one of my favorites. Devil's Lake. http://www.devilslakewisconsin.com/w...mmer-1-728.jpg |
I threw up a lot as a child.
|
Dang customers keep ordering a bunch of big assed prints. If the customers would leave me alone I would have time to get caught up.
I have two full days of running the printer. I will not have a chance for my morning or afternoon nap. I gonna get grumpy, um grumpier than normal. Get of my lawn and everyone's lawn. Why back in my day..... |
Once the printers are going, do you have to babysit them or can you queue up more jobs behind it?
|
The prints are a bunch of different sizes. I have the 36 inch wide paper on now, next is 44 then the 50 and then tomorrow the 60. If I did not care about paper waste I could just let em roll.
|
And in case you were wondering a roll of 5ft x 100ft 250G (photo gloss weight) is HEAVY and unwieldy. It is a pain to do. The drawing in the instructions shows two people to do it. Since I am 6ft tall I can just do it myself with only minimal cussing.
|
That reminds me...I need to pick up some TP, or bog rolls (for Jeff).
Not heavy at all, butt very very important! |
I bet if you got it in 5'x100' it would be heavy.
|
Don't think that will fit in the holder.
|
You might want a motorized holder for one that size. Though I would feel bad for the commode.
|
Today sucks. FU Verizon
