Shucks, think I would have gone with that Perdu stuff. Me likes me some etouffée. Just not sure about the sem-boneless part. Either it's boneless or it not.

And all I had was a burrrito supreme at Taco Bell.

Today is Pepper's Burpday! Puppy is one years old.

Morning Y'all,
Took the daughter out to dinner last night, it was her 26th, and she wanted Indian food. I got my food hot, as in Indian hot, the waiter asked me if I was sure and kind of hovered to se if I was going to break out in a sweat. It was good. He was disappointed

Like that towel head hot stuff. Almost as much as the sombrero hot stuff.
Sometimes it seems hot to me, but most times it's not all that hot.
Call them towel head and sombrero because don't really think it is really native to either of those countries.

Found I can order stuff at taco smell with hot sauce already on it so I don't have to add the little packets of stuff.

It is hard to find hot food when I am in VA. They call it hot, but after spending so many years out west...even what they label as hot seems almost tasteless. We usually just make it at home.

When I was in Hershey, PA I noticed all the food was excellent but no seasoning at all. I asked for a bottle of Tobasco and it was a new bottle and I bet it was 10 years old.

No problem finding spicy Cajun food doe in Baton Rouge.

When I were first lookin for a 928 it were may years ago. I looked and almost bought one in Ft Worth. The owner said he kept it in top shape becaue he like to drive it to Baton Rouge for gamibiling of an evening. Said he drove it very fast from ftw to br and back for just an evening of entertainment.

He wouldn't let me drive it exept in the neighborhood he was in. Took me out driving in traffic in ft worth and drove at speeds over 120 in 5 oclock traffic in ft worth. He drove it very very fast but very matter of factly and very comfortable with the speeds he was doing.

Ended up not buying it because he backed out at the last minute. Think he ended up falling back in love with it as he talked it up for me to buy it.

^^^this. We sometimes bring back lots of Hatch or Bueno green chile when we're in CO or NM. My wife makes some kick ass meals with them. Mmmmmmm!

It was warmer here today than it was in SoCal. This is crazy, but I'm definitely not complaining!

Yes, after so many years in Albuquerque, I couldn't go cold turkey. I get roasted hatch green chile shipped in already prepared and frozen in quart freezer bags. Only have to thaw it a bag at a time and add some salt and garlic powder to make it ready to eat. Grilled up some green chile cheeseburgers for lunch today. They were pretty darned good.

70 and sunshine in the middle of December ?.......I'll take it, last year when we were trying to build our 104'x60' horse stalls and indoor riding arena, the creek was frozen solid in November.

It looks like the biggest issue is to wear shoes or work boots to do that.

RKDinOKC 12-13-2015 06:37 AM

Don't think you want to see my foot. And I was wearing boots too.

Yay, it's drizzling. Got a break from haulin tree limbs so far today.

Well, I am back home. We arrived back in OKC last night. I put my head on the pillow at 1:03 AM and seconds later it was 8:32 AM. Amazing time machine.

Traveling with those two is an bladder tester. We left Baton Rouge at 2:00 PM. We drove past the LSU campus and the stadium on to I-10 and headed west. We did not stop for a bladder break until Texarkana, TX right at 6:00 hours after we got into the car. We did not stop again until 4 more hours. Just two pee stops from Baton Rouge, LA. to Oklahoma, City. We drove through one area of HARD rain between Texarkana, TX to Paris, TX and that slowed us down a bit.

RKDinOKC 12-13-2015 08:14 AM

Almost always seem to go thru some rain somewhere when traveling from OKC to Austin, and back even too. Maybe it's just the time of year.

The one thing I like about driving is I get to stop when I need to.

RKDinOKC 12-13-2015 08:16 AM

Getting tired of my cable going local on me. Ever since I got back from Texas my cox cable has been turning itself so it only provides access to local stations only. I aint payin for local access, I pay for all a them channels. They keep claiming they are working on it. It's been almost a month off and on now.
