I agree.

My parents never took me camping, because they loved me.

Camping is a twin bed and slow internet wi-fi.

I refuse to sleep in a tent unless there is something to kill. Its called hunting.

Evening Y'all
Brent I bought a Rugar SR1911 and I could not be happier, it eats anything I want to feed it, it hits what I aim at, goes bang every time and is now my carry piece.
I love camping, Chuck the tent in the back of Peggy, head up to the mountains, look for a spot that has no cell service and just walk away from the rat race for a few days.

Not much into camping any more. Camped and hiked a lot as a scout. Then some in college and a little after, but it was really just outdoor drinking fests with bonfires and tents to crash in. Been a long time since I slept in a bag or tent. Don't even have a tent, pack, or even sleeping bag any more.

Gettin old, not much into staying anywhere anymore unless it has the creature comforts, climate controlled with private facilities and shower. So a nice RV would do, but been doin just fine staying with family, friends, and in hotels when away from home for a while now.

Got back into hiking last summer after a long time away and I have to say i can not wait for it to warm up again so I can get back to it

Outback Porsche 01-15-2016 02:56 PM

And I'm waiting for it to cool down so we can go camping again :D

And I'm very wet from the waist down.

Haven't read any of the 007 books. Just watch newest movie, bad guy character seemed a bit out of sync. Guess it's not like 007 really follows any sort of time line thing.

Pepper sure likes spending the day at the spa. She is also very happy to see me and ready to home too. LOL. This time she gets bathed, groomed, and her yearly shots.

My first Golden Penny the most exciting thing you could say to her was "Go for a Ride." The worst thing you could say was "Take a bath." Even though she would hang her head and act like she had gotten in trouble, she would always get in the tub and let me give her a bath without me getting all wet. She would even wait to shake off until I took her outside and told her to shake off. Still miss her.

Both Penny and Camber would stop when they came in with wet/dirty feet then present one foot at a time to let me dry them off. Or even wash and dry them if they got in the mud. Pepper is learning, still a little slow with her back feet.

Well...awake again and it ain't that early yet it's still dark outside...Good Morning.

7:30 am and the limb collectors are taking away the parts of my cottonwood at the curb. It would be kinda fun playing with their crane for a couple of hours.

Buenos Dias, y'all. I'm trying to learn enough Spanish in one month to be a half(ass)-way decent speaker of the language. I think I may be over my head, but what doesn't kill ya might still leave a scar. ;)

Anyway, I'm nuts.

GH85Carrera 01-16-2016 05:34 AM

Good morning folks.

The city folks picked up my limbs this morning at 7:30. That is a cool crane arm. The guy is pretty good but he has had at least several weeks of practice dawn to dusk.

All they left behind was leaves. I suspect Mrs. Carrera will be wanting me to pick those up right away.

RKDinOKC 01-16-2016 07:12 AM

poco, muy poco. When off with my foot thought I would try to learn spanish. Didn't get very far.

RKDinOKC 01-16-2016 08:04 AM

They must be running more than one pickup in our area at a time, that's exactly when they were picking mine up.
