Golly fun in the garage!
I am changing out the AC blower switch to the Kehuel system switch. It is not just a switch. The new switch is a infinitely variable switch, so no more position one is almost nothing number two is just not much more and three is wide open. Now I will be able to have a little more or less. Also I get a compressor function indicator. I am about 1/2 way done installing it. |
Are you in Germany for work or pleasure, Sid?
|
Work Jim. Have a week of meetings at our office here.
|
I hope you have some time for fun while you’re there...although I have no idea what to do while there. SmileWavy

Maybe Sid can find a beer or two there. Try to find a Dinkle Acker. It is made in Stuttgart. Good stuff.

Already found beer. No clue what it was, German coworker ordered in German. I just drank it. Tasty. 🤣 |
Sid, Just remember, you could be hanging over the interstate putting up signs instead of having to travel to far off lands just to earn a living. Or counting Viagra pills for old grey haired dudes at the pharmacy.
I am processing anther project that is about the same area as far as square miles, but it has processed a lot faster. Hopefully that is not because it is all gibberish but because the images are just easier to point match. |
Mertnin,
Hope you all havin better luck than I so far this week. |
Good morning all. Its Monday yet again. Oh and its cold again. Saw some falling snow yesterday but only sticking at about 100' higher than my house.
|
We have one more warm day, and then winter comes back for a while and the temps drop. It was real pretty yesterday. The bosses wife came out to the garage while I was slaving away on the 911, and need "help" with picking up dog crap, and digging up and replacing a bush.
The wind was just a breeze, and I guess the wind machines were all turned off. They have the windmills all over the place now and the crank those things up to get the wind blowing like crazy. I was glad they had them off yesterday. It was nice outside. |
Get to go see if they are doing pee or saliva for drug tests. Heard they were taking saliva now. Looks like they are testing everyone today instead of a random group.
Are we supposed to be able to do medical weed here in Oklahoma yet? Brother told me was sent pictures from a study showing smokin it makes blank spaces in your brain. |
Just wait till OK legalizes the naughty stuff.
|
Welp, they are doing spit swabs. Much faster than having everyone pee in a cup.
Instead of one at a time in the boys or girls restroom, there was a large conference room of employees with swabs sticking out of the mouths waiting for the tip to turn blue. Oh yeah, and IT closet had a Thunderbolt 27in monitor. Hope it works! |
The only thing we had in the 60s weather wise was the wind speed. -2* this morning on the way in. It was not a good weekend for grilling or smoking meats for us since it started out Saturday with freezing rain, then rain, then 60mph winds and in the single digit temps. I hope March is better.
Good luck on the monitor! I saw there is a 32:9 curved monitor for under $800 on Amazon with DisplayPort. Would really suck if that puppy died. Wife has been working hard paying down debt. Right now we have a car payment and house payment and she wants to pay the car off this month. |
Smart move on getting rid of payments. My wife was the task-master on this, too. We retired with no debts, including the house.
|
that was our plan till the kids got into the CA college.
|
Ouch, out-of-state tuition!

Paying down or off debts is a good thing. I went without a lot of fun stuff getting rid of debt. Now the only debt is the company airplane. I only owe for half of the note, and we have some pretty good equity in it. Hopefully we can use some of the depreciation on the airplane to reduce our tax bill. Our company goal is to get it paid for asap. That will go faster if the dang thing would quit having electronic instrumentation issues. Of course for all the years I had zero debt, the interest rates were just above zero. Now I get a loan, and the rates keep going up. It has to be all because of the airplane note the Fed is raising rates. Our airplane note is tied to prime + 2%. |
