Sid, bow down, this man is your god!

Richard, I'd love to see some pics of that monster. I'm sure it looks as well as it goes!

I've driven a 944T, G. Not sure I will own one. They are fast, but the boost lag is goofy and they seem to break.... A lot....

GH85Carrera 10-04-2010 04:36 AM

Good Monday morning guys.

Richard you are up early!

I know that 944. It is amazing the owner is actually selling a Porsche. Normally he just buys them. The has a long list of people wanting to buy his 993 Turbo-S. My name is on that list.

Schumi 10-04-2010 05:59 AM

Called the place I ordered my exhaust from bright and early. Guy on the phone was nice, said he would take care of it.

I hope I get some sort of confirmation email or something though, so I have documentation for this. Oh well.. guy said it would ship later today so I'll know by the end of the week if it doesn't show up at work, I've got problems.

I assume this would be the guy I had breakfast with before the car show? He has some really nice cars....

Good luck mike!

I'm SORE this morning. I pushed too hard yesterday.

GH85Carrera 10-04-2010 06:15 AM

Yep, that's the guy.

He has a really cool garage.

RKDinOKC 10-04-2010 08:27 AM

Pics page of the car is here

All the upgrades are Vittesse and not Lindsey Racing so it should last at least a little longer. BUT, it has only got about 1000 miles on it since the hp upgrades.

And yes, with a turbo car you have to learn to add throttle before you actually need it and by how much.

I have met the guy. I have no doubt that the car is amazing. But he paid for all of it... I'd have a beast too if I could afford to have it all done by a pro.....

GH85Carrera 10-04-2010 09:03 AM

How much is he asking for it?

RKDinOKC 10-04-2010 10:42 AM

$18,000

It has lots of bolt on upgrades and it's like pulling teeth getting the info on them from John.

GH85Carrera 10-04-2010 12:56 PM

I bet he does not REALLY want to sell it. He probably has another car coming back home from a year long restoration and wants the garage space. It's a problem I would like to have.

porsche4life 10-04-2010 04:43 PM

I figured it was due for an oil change so he was going to get another one....

Schumi 10-04-2010 05:10 PM

Yay Borla for sure on it's way to my place of work. It would be awesome if it got here by the weekend. I cannot wait.

porsche4life 10-04-2010 05:12 PM

I hope my car gets done by the weekend....

And I'm gunna need about TreeFiddy when it is done!

Here's a vid you can all watch....

I climbed capybaras spat on Sunday... Albeit with slightly less grace than Tember.

slodave 10-04-2010 08:18 PM

I can't seem to watch it. :(

EDIT: There it goes...

porsche4life 10-04-2010 08:43 PM

Looks like you have to click the video name and go watch it at vimeo....

porsche4life 10-04-2010 09:17 PM

Night guys... I'm gunna go lay down and study some reaction mechanisms....

GH85Carrera 10-05-2010 04:36 AM

Good Tuesday morning fellers.

We have had some great weather in the recent weeks. Our pilot is racking up some crazy hours. We are overdue for an oil change again. We can hardly make it a week on an oil change. He landed in Mena Arkansas yesterday for fuel and the battery is dead. Hopefully he got a jump start. Mena AR is not a great place to spend the night.
