I think that is MTSSDD You forgot one part, the fecal part.
We had some HEAVY rain for while. In 15 minutes we received .82 inches of rain. With a total of 1.36 inches for the day. Three stupid kids (is that redundant) were playing in a fast moving water in a drainage ditch. They were very lucky in that some ordinary men lived in the area and were their neighbors. They climbed down to the water and saved the kids. They were wet and cold but just bruised and scraped up.

It looks like there might be enough break in the weather to get in a short flight today. There is high thin overcast which just softens the shadows but it typically prevents the formation of the big puffys.

I try to not think about the fecal part., even though it is a different fecal part than you are thinking. Too frustrating and depressing with my IBS. There is this thing I call Revenge of the Immodium. Can take Immoduum to defer having problems for certain days, or road trips. But, it always comes back en-force.

Sorry, I know. TMI

Digging through my old records and shredding a lot of old useless records I found a funny old picture. Back in the "good ol days" when film was still king the Great Yellow Father, (Kodak) had a big booth at one of the conventions. The booth was typical Kodak but they were showcasing one of the products that were selling. It was a color printer the size of a typical laser printer that could spit out a photo quality print color print. They were using one of the Kodak digital camera and I stood in a Star Trek transporter with a Ferengi as were were beamed up. Or maybe it was down who knows. It has the sparkly effects on my legs added in the process and I have a print. This was from a 1997 convention. 20 years later things are a bit different.

The actors dressed up in the Ferengi were just getting there and the Klingon's were leaving. I really wanted to be next to a Klingon but a Ferengi was all I got.

The print has faded a lot in the cyan layer and it has become red and looks like a real photo from the 1960s. It was not a color stable process for sure. It has been a a dark file folder all this time.

kind of cool to keep.

flipper35 08-16-2017 07:58 AM

My first color printer used a Mylar ribbon and heat transferred the "ink" to the paper. I wish I had saved some of the renderings I had done of aircraft on the ray tracing program on my Amiga back then. It was a painfully slow process sometimes taking days to render a "high quality" image.

So Glen, you had to dress up for the convention?

GH85Carrera 08-16-2017 08:10 AM

Yea, back in the olden days when I was "working for da man" and out in public the boss insisted on the dockers and shirts with buttons. I had to keep a change of clothes at the office for fixing the equipment. That was always messy.

flipper35 08-16-2017 09:00 AM

When I lived in CA it was Dockers shorts and a polo and white tennis shoes.

Porsche-poor 08-16-2017 09:17 AM

dockers and polo here unless going to a job site.

GH85Carrera 08-16-2017 09:35 AM

Jeans are my dressy clothes now. And a Polo that has a button is formal.

Porsche-poor 08-16-2017 09:41 AM

a button? you are probably over dressed.

GH85Carrera 08-16-2017 09:53 AM

Just one big button, like Dagwood Bedstead.

What is strange about that drawing is it looks like some normal sandwich food, except for the peas!

His right arm has ham, sausage, tomatoes, mustard, a weird egg roll or burrito on his right shoulder and them on his left shoulder is a hunk of Swiss cheese, peas or maybe grapes, a can of anchovies or sardines, more sausage, a knife in his hand and a loaf of bread. Not what I normally use for a sandwich.

Of course I just yell out woman, get in there and make me a sammich right now!
I find that women love that.

RKDinOKC 08-16-2017 10:39 AM

I'm thinkin that on his shoulder is probably some kind of lunch meat loaf like pastrami or salami. The bowl on his wrist looks like some kind of onions. The green peas, nope, just nope. Maybe pickle slices. But could be peas because the comic strip never revealed the actual makeup of the Dagwood.

I always thought it was just whatever the heck was leftover in the fridge.

Or grapes! :eek::eek:

Maybe the grapes are the dessert.

Porsche-poor 08-16-2017 12:04 PM

a wine starter kit.

flipper35 08-16-2017 12:39 PM

He isn't going to get much wine from those few grapes.
