Told them I just hope they don't file a mechanics lean or charge me storage.

Missing Frenzy 21, the 928 GTG in D.C this weekend.

GH85Carrera 09-29-2017 05:46 AM

Washington would be a LONG haul in a freshly rebuilt car. Try a trip to Tulsa or Dallas first.

TGIF folks.

Porsche-poor 09-29-2017 06:33 AM

morning all. old boss informed me that he needed some people to work the weekend. I informed him that Friday am was not the time to spring that and I would not be working. Then he told me to tell someone else they had to do it. Well that's not going to work either cause when he sold the place we all became co-workers as in I supervise no one and can not dictate who works the weekend go talk to the office director. Oh yeah they hate each other.

Not to worry...Richard's detailer is making the the shake down run to D.C. in the 928 for him. ;)

RKDinOKC 09-29-2017 07:32 AM

Good Friday Morning.

The garage claims the detailers ran the battery down while detailing it and presumably that's why the have not gotten around to picking it up.

Does anyone want to buy a Selmer Mark VI Alto Saxophone. Bought it new with my own money in 1975 for $750. They sell new for $10,000 today. Used like this one are listed for $5000. Have not played it since 1981. It got me 2 years of college scholarships.

Porsche-poor 09-29-2017 07:35 AM

what in the detailing of a car would drain a battery?

RKDinOKC 09-29-2017 07:55 AM

Keeping the doors, hatch, or hood open with the key in the ignition?

Porsche-poor 09-29-2017 08:29 AM

If it took that long then they should have disconnected it.

GH85Carrera 09-29-2017 08:49 AM

Or put it on a trickle charger.

Sounds like a strange excuse.

Porsche-poor 09-29-2017 08:53 AM

Jim Richards 09-29-2017 10:54 AM

Or maybe some risky business

GH85Carrera 09-29-2017 12:13 PM

Yea, hopefully they did not play submarine captain with it.

flipper35 09-29-2017 12:19 PM

Sounds like risky business. As in will he get it back in time to retire and have fun with it.

Porsche-poor 09-29-2017 01:24 PM

Lets form a protest!!!!!!

RKDinOKC 09-29-2017 01:25 PM

Maybe it was once owned by Charlie Sheen and they are off doing hookers and blow, or took it to Say hello to their little friend? But think it would be a weird science to find that much stash and a bit risky for their business.

Saturday!

Finally fall temps. Mid 60's at night and upper 70's low 80's daytime highs.

Keeping it off page 2 with a weather report.

Great turnout at the car show. More Mercedes than Porsche and perfect weather.

White (the fastest color) Porsches rock!

I'm out of action today with some annoying illness. So, I'm sitting on my butt zoned out on TV. Oh well.
