I think it needs to be called...Culture Resources And People Department. Makes a much more accurate departmental acronym.

Porsche-poor 01-26-2018 12:35 PM

ohhh I like that!!!!

RKDinOKC 01-26-2018 12:41 PM

Is the NASCAR number 20 sponsored by Tide Pods a Pod Racer?

Porsche-poor 01-26-2018 12:42 PM

technically yes.

RKDinOKC 01-26-2018 12:51 PM

Here in Oklahoma the state vegetable is the watermelon.

flipper35 01-26-2018 12:56 PM

I only know our state bird and animal. Bird is the Robin and the animal is the American Badger. Oh, and deer hunting is an excused absence from school.

I saw these two women paddleboarding in bikinis this afternoon and I thought it was odd for late January. Not complaining. :)

Go a zoom on that camera?

Jim Richards 01-26-2018 02:11 PM

I wish.

RKDinOKC 01-26-2018 03:59 PM

Our state bird is the Scissortail Flycatcher though sometimes I think it's the finger.
The state animal is the Bison.

Jim Richards 01-26-2018 04:03 PM

I'm not sure, but I think CA's state bird is The Blonde and the state animal is The Cougar.

RKDinOKC 01-26-2018 06:27 PM

Think my graying beard protects me from The Cougar advancements. The Blonde is questionable though. A lot of them are crazy and unpredictable.

GH85Carrera 01-27-2018 06:47 AM

Crazy and unpredictable can be fun for a short time. You just need a safe exit strategy.

Happy Saturday.

We have some technical and exciting intellectual tasks Dari do today. Picking up dog poop in the back yard is the highlight of all of them.

GH85Carrera 01-27-2018 11:52 AM

I recently watched the Fate of the Furious, the latest of the Fast and Furious movies.

I will have to say that the move Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon is a scientific documentary in comparison. It is a good action movie and has some fun special effects, but the physics is not quite as good as Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.

RKDinOKC 01-27-2018 03:58 PM

Sure glad that when I was doing the autocross thing I didn't have mechanical problems like those Street Outlaws guys.

Maybe Fast and Furious trained their cars in Kung Fu, Tie Rod Chi?

GH85Carrera 01-27-2018 05:23 PM

I have been watching the Daytona 24 all afternoon. I recorded a few hours ahead and now fast forward through the almost endless commercials. 19 hours to go on the recording point I am at. 2 hours to go to catch up.

GH85Carrera 01-27-2018 06:46 PM

Stijn!!

They had an interesting several minutes. About 20 seconds in each different in car engine noises. Of course the 911 engine sounds by far the best but it is remotely possible I am prejudiced. The Ford GT sounds good under power by when it is on the brakes and slowing down it has a really weird nasal buzz like a warning buzzer. The Caddy and Corvette sound good. The Mazda has a weird tone.

RKDinOKC 01-28-2018 08:39 AM

Oh noooo.
Been looking over my electricity usage this winter. Over half my electricity usage has been the little electric heater I use to keep my garage from freezing. Yikes. Gotta find something more efficient and/or insulate my garage better.
