Good morning guys.

Schumi, I am a Stargate nerd as well. I have the entire box set of the original series. I have been watching Universe since the begining. I love my DVR, just tell it to record the series and relax.

G-Man the traffic jam goes border to border?

Geronimo '74 12-02-2010 05:20 AM

Morning Glen,

no, the traffic jams are concentrated between major cities (Antwerp, Ghent, Brussels.)
It doesn't get this bad very often, but come first snow, you can bet your life on it.

I hope it keeps on snowing so I can stay at home tomorrow also... I kinda like it, although
I do get distracted quicker....

GH85Carrera 12-02-2010 09:17 AM

I got curious so I went to Google. Belgium is 11,787 sq mi and has a population of 10.8 million. Oklahoma is 68,667 sq miles and has a population of 3.6 million. I can see why your traffic is bad. The Oklahoma City metro area is right at 1,000 sq miles and the total population of the metro area is 1.2 million.

In the 1st century BC, the Romans defeated the local tribes and created the province of Gallia Belgica. Oklahoma City did not exist at all in 1888. Oklahoma City was settled on April 22, 1889.

That is your history lesson for the day. :D

Quote:

this is from "De Bello Gallico" where Julius Ceasar tells about the conquest of what later would become Belgium, France ans Switzerland...
Three peoples lived here, Belgea, Aquitani and the Celtae...

Horum omnium fortissimi sunt Belgae
means the Belgae were the bravest of those people...
This was of course a long time ago... and it has nothing to do with our traffic jams...

From what I heard the Romans built the roads that everyone used as a standard. They followed the same basic layout. So it is all the Romans fault!

1) She's 2000 miles away.
2) She's likely on call somewhere, up to her eyebrows in scutwork.

Geronimo '74 12-02-2010 10:32 AM

true, she's far away, but that don't make it right to date other women IMO.
But hey, who am I, and more importantly, what do I know?
I'm not here to judge. ;)

Damn Romans...

GH85Carrera 12-02-2010 10:55 AM

Hey them Romans got you to work at home today. :)

That's my story and I am sticking to it.

I went to get my haircut again today. The lady that cuts my hair is one of the hottest women I have a phone number for.

She is a really nice lady.

She is the owner of the shop.

Geronimo '74 12-02-2010 01:14 PM

Rick V 12-02-2010 01:44 PM
