Go ahead, Sid. If it doesn´t help at all within a week or two, see a doc.

Dave I am blown away by your axe build.

slodave 01-25-2011 01:32 AM

Thank you, Rick. :)

It's been one hell of a project so far. Not exactly what I expected. :D

No ticket, just a scenario of how NOT to talk to an officer.

I've had tummy bugs that felt like ulcers The big difference is ulcers hurt more when you tummy acids up for the next meal. A couple of Ciproflox knocked em right out.

If/when you get the courage/feel like you can change jobs to talk to your employer...DO NOT make it an asking for a raise conversation. Any time you put an employer on the spot with an "or else" you will always leave with the else. Instead make it a "Thought you would like to know I bumped into your old nemesis and he offered to hire me away from you" heads up thing. Kind of an "Oh man, you'll like this...Bumped into so and so and since you got me all trained, he offered me a $16 an hour internship position. Can you believe that guy?" You did apply to work for both when you got your current job didn't you? And your current boss is the one that hired you when the other one wouldn't. You want to leave your boss with the idea that he now has something that his nemesis wants not the idea that you are looking to go to the other side. If you come across correctly it should make you look more loyal than if you don't tell him and he finds out anyway.

Hadnt applied at the other pharmacy when I got my current job. I had only been looking for jobs in Weatherford(nonexistent). My current boss found out I was looking and offered me a job.

This other offer came from one of dads customers. Dad mentioned that I was working in a pharmacy and my boss was taking his sweet time getting my tech permit. Hence the offer to go to work at the other place, and they just happen to pay more.

Couldn't get in to see the nurse until tomorrow. Surprisingly my primary care doc can see me at 3... He is usually booked way out.

Good luck at the doc. hope its something simple.

porsche4life 01-25-2011 01:04 PM

Back from the doctor. He thinks just some upper gastro inflamation. Probably spurred by taking an Aleve, not drinking enough water and laying down right away. Gave me some more prilosec, said to come back if I'm not feeling any better in a week.

$15 dollar copay so no big deal.

Porsche-poor 01-25-2011 01:06 PM

glad to hear.

slodave 01-25-2011 01:06 PM
