What is really bad is the company is moving to put all their shared files to Hosted Sharepoint using web access instead of mapping and re-mapping drives all the time, AND are NOT doing anything to secure the web environment besides just user name and password. There are two things we can do. First implement Multi-Factor Authentication, and two restrict IP access for company Sharepoint URLs by getting Hosted Azure Pro licensing. |

Sounds like they would like to fail. |

Grumble grumble grumble snarl. I looked at my cable bill and it had had another "price adjustment" and we all know it is adjusted up. I called the customer retention department. I was civil but made it clear I was not happy. She lopped off nearly 50 bucks per month. So long time customers they just screw and give big "discounts" to new customers. I now have one of the new customer discounts after 30 years as a customer. Our cable bill is stupid high, but Mrs Carrera is home most of the day and loves old movies, crime dramas, and home improvement shows, and live sports, er games. She was recording two basket ball games at once, watching a third and then jumping over to golf game the other night. She has been watching all the crime shows on Investigation Discovery, and other crime networks. If I ever just disappear, please have the local cop see if we suddenly have a new big flower bed or concrete pad under the storage shed. She has seen all the shows on how the bad guys got caught. I like F1 and racing, Science channel and Velocity channel, National Geographic and several others. HBO, and the rest make for a big bill. That and fast internet, it all adds up. It just adds up a lot less now. |

LOL, have gotten a couple of spam calls that have come thru since I had to turn off the Hiya filter to receive calls from Microsoft Support. I've started answering those calls with...."Murphy's mule barn, plumbing, and heating. Can I warm your a55?" They hang up. And it's not those calls that just hang up. i can hear call center background noise. |

Was just guessing as to how incompetent staff members can keep the job they don't actually do. Last week the IT staff of 12 people were asked to list 3 goals for the meeting this week. 2 related to work and one personal. Submitted mine this early this morning. Seems only myself and the IT Director bothered submitting their goals. He even stressed the goals were to be very general each with one or two steps you can take to reach them. So, since it is after noon, is hump day over the hump? |

 it is for me! |

It is official, we have bluebirds in the bluebird nest we put up. I saw them go in, and carry the nesting material inside the box. Using grandpa's old pipe threader was not just an exercise in wasting time. |
|
We have been debating putting up a kestrel box. Just haven't taken the time to do it. We did get the trees trimmed for spring. |

http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploa...1521665188.jpg I certainly did not take this photo, but it is the type of bird we have nesting. And the one in the picture is sitting on a Oklahoma State tree, the Redbud. |
