I see a 928 just all the time. Can't find any info on their car show. The online calendar is blank.

Yes that is the horse shoe. It would make a game of horseshoes a lot easier.

We went to the ranch where all the Budweiser Clydesdale horses are bread.

They had two horse puppies!

awe how cute. I'll still take the 180 horses from the 79 911 first.

Probably cheaper to operate as well.

you know it and a lot less clean up in the garage. Can you imagine the size of the litter box for that thing?

GH85Carrera 07-10-2018 01:56 PM

They did have free Budweiser for everyone at the end of the tour.

After that we went to a winery, and had lunch. Then drove home. We did find a spot in the underground parking garage. Score.

Tonight is the Concours dinner. Business casual, for other business. My business casual is my boxer shorts, and a old t-shirt. Business formal is shorts and polo shirt with a button and my company logo on it, which is what I wore today to for the drive. The bosses wife and decreed real slacks like Dockers and a real shirt with all the buttons, and no logos. That is pretty much my formal look for weddings or funerals.

A tux would kill you I bet.

I can not imagine what it would take for me to put on a tux. I did it for my brother’s wedding 45 years ago because I was best man. I am way past the age off friends getting married in formal weddings.
Now the weddings are very casual.

RKDinOKC 07-10-2018 04:39 PM

Not of the class or political activism to actually own a tux. Glad too, some of them I have had the occasion to wear were very bright colors, my prom being one of them. There were a few banquets, and weddings that my attendance required formal attire, but no funerals.

GH85Carrera 07-11-2018 05:35 AM

For my brother’s wedding way back then that asked me to wear a tux and be best man. My parents and the grandparents were there. So I relented. They are still happily married after all these years, and I think it must be because I wore a tux. Yea, that’s the ticked. It was because of me! ;)

Last night I gave up on the concours banquets at 10:30. They had not even started to do the awards presentation as yet. I bet it went until midnight.

The 24 hrs of LeMans winning car.

RKDinOKC 07-11-2018 05:45 AM

Probably all the fancy deserts that made the banquet go so long. You need to petition the have a 10pm pumpkin clause added to the speaker's agenda.

Porsche-poor 07-11-2018 05:59 AM

morning all. bating clean up for another engineer from another office.

RKDinOKC 07-11-2018 06:14 AM

Feel like I'm batting clean up for the people from my local office!

sucks if you ask me.

flipper35 07-11-2018 08:57 AM

At least you are the guys cleaning up and not getting cleaned up after.

We did a leadership test for work. Evidently I am a grumpy old man.

RKDinOKC 07-11-2018 09:02 AM

You didn't tell anyone to get off your lawn did you?

flipper35 07-11-2018 09:09 AM

No, I don't use that many words.

RKDinOKC 07-11-2018 09:10 AM

Ah, the politically acceptable 'Take off"

flipper35 07-11-2018 09:14 AM

Says these are my priorities.

Resolute, deliberate and commanding.
