That client we do the flight for must be part farmer. He gets up at EARLY and goes to bed even before I do. He just loves to send a text message at 5:30 AM to remind us to do something like be sure to send the invoice. Like we need a reminder for that!

So last night I finished up really late, (10:45PM is late for me!) and sent him a text to let him know I had it all uploaded. ;)

afternoon all. late start for me and early leave so Monday will be worse than a normal Monday I'm sure.

So, I dumped some Seafoam in the bike last night and rode around. It sputtered and coughed and died after about 3 minutes. Took about a dozen kicks to start up and ran fine for a good 15 minutes, including full throttle runs and over jumps and I put it away. Must have cleaned something up.

When I go try to grease something, about 45% of the grease squeezes all over the ground, about 45% squeezes all over me, 9% ends up slopping all over the grease gun, and only about 1% gets into whatever really needed the greasing. I always need a whole roll of paper towels to clean it up. Every time.

Got the yard mowed yesterday, it is raining today. We have doubled our rainfall for the month just overnight. I was a whopping .13 inches.

Watching the F1 race now. The qualifying was the most position changing I have ever seen.

RKDinOKC 07-29-2018 09:55 AM

Since cutting the cord been too cheap to pay for anything that would get me F1 this year. Sounds like I am missing a comparatively good year to watch.

Have been watching a bunch of stuff on free AppleTV Youtube service.
Of all the comedy, movies, stand-up, skits, parodies, and vids, the thing that makes me laugh out loud the most is videos of cats being startled, jumping, and beating feet out of there. Especially if they run smack dab into something else trying to get away.

Probably because when I was little we had a Siamese tomcat, jimbo, that slept on the warm console TV. I would stroke Jimbo from head to tail then slap the TV, and repeat several times. Then the last time, stroke then....wait...wait...wait for it...Slap the TV. The cat would launch about 5 feet in the air.

Hey, happy Monday!

We got some good rain last night. 2.45 inches. That brinks the entire month's total to 2.83 inches.

It is supposed to be mid 80s and low humidity tomorrow. I have been waiting for that weather. I will have time to play in the garage some.

Jim, I hope the fires are not in your area. According to the TV news all of California is on fire. But they do love to exaggerate any disaster and make it sound way worse than reality.

Morning all. Two more days of work then the real fun begins. 10 days walking around in 90* heat. Oh its in Paris but I'm still stuck on 90*..............

Hopefully that is Paris, France and not the one in Texas.

From what I hear, ice is just not something they provide. If you order some water, it is just room temperature water. Iced tea is just not on the menu, and if you order a mixed drink you might get one little ice cube.

But I hear they have lots of old buildings and churches to look at! And Pigeons, lots of Pigeons.

Enjoy the trip.

So, the head on the gas trimmer flew apart, the lawn tractor is blowing the inline fuse and the battery is dead on the Nissan. Wife ordered a replacement head for the trimmer. New battery on the way for the Nissan but the tractor has to go to the local repair shop. I think there is air in the clutch hydraulics in the Cobra and the header gasket leaks and the hot gasses go right to the line from the master to the slave. I did adjust the brake pedal so I can heel/toe better and then adjusted the brake light switch accordingly. Some days I hate weekends. Makes me wonder if I will enjoy retirement! OK, if someone bought me a winning lotto ticket I probably would.
