Never tried the tea. That probably isn't bad.
One of our clients where I worked in CA was Batdorf and Bronson from your area. They have some excellent coffee. |
Never met coffee I liked.
|
I am that way with beer.

I get the same result with normal coffee. YUCK!!!!!!
|
I've never tasted anything from starbux.
I get my fix from the local donut shop (black) or make some French roast (black) in my kee-you-rig machine. My wife likes flavored coffee, I figured it was a female thing ;) |
Basically the less coffee tastes like coffee the better I like it. Mocha Fraps with extra Mocha.
I usually like the spicey hot stuff if it has flavor and not hot for hot's sake. But it does go in cycles. Go thru times when any hot is too much, and others it only makes the top of my head sweat. We used to have an electronics lab next to the drafting department. In that lab was a big oven for heat cycling circuit boards. Someone got the bright idea to bring in loads of chips, cheddar, and a gallon jar of pickled jalapenos. Made individual chips with cheese and peppers and munched on em all day long. The guy that brought the peppers had the most. He did not come in to work the next day and we were never able to get him to participate in another nachos at work day. |
Phew, golly driving in rush hour traffic is fun!
My business partner needed a ride to the commercial airport. 30 minutes each way, some of it going 5 to 10 MPH. Lots of construction sites, and just random slow downs for no apparent reason. I am so glad I don't have to do that very often. I much prefer my 14 step walk down the hall, normal commute. |
Know what you mean on that horribly long, traffic filled commute.
Really like being able to attend meetings with Skype or High Five Telepresence. My Office is currently 9.2 miles from the company offices. It takes an extra hour for me to attend a meeting in person. The company is building a new facility to replace their current location only 3.8 miles from my Office. Interesting My old house is also 3.8 miles from the new location. |

My drive is about 16 miles and takes 25 minutes give or take. It is rush hour season right now (tractors and combines) because of harvest season. I like some of the flavored stuff, but not the foo foo stuff. And if I put creamer in I put a lot in. Enough that it matches the color of the old computer cases from the early 90s. I also like the fake cappuccino at Kwik Trip. One tastes just like molten ice cream. |
I guess I "commute" to the airport a lot to work. The good news is my journey to and from the airport is the reverse flow of the major traffic. The trip to the airport is usually very early afternoon. The trip home is at 5:30 or so. I can see the traffic backed up 1/2 a mile in one place just to get OFF of the interstate. I just smile and go the opposite direction. Flying across the city I see several major intersections and the typical cluster of traffic. We occasionally have traffic coming in to land. Sometimes we have to be second or third in line to land. We came in right behind the 100 year old Ford Tri-motor, and right in front of some fairly new King Air. The good news is the Ford is too big for the self service gas pumps so he had to have the fuel pump fill him up, and the King Air burns Jet-A, so a different fuel truck for them. We like to fill up each time we land so the airplane is ready to go as soon as the pre-flight checks are done.

Keeping the tanks full also helps keep the condensation from forming in the tanks. With just the two of you and a camera you probably never get close to gross or out of the CG range.
|
Yea, the 172 is not really over-grossed at all. The camera only weight 15 pounds of so. We had the two of us, and some computers. No major load. The biggest thing is that we want the ability to get in the air ASAP if a project pops up. If we have to refuel there might be a line at the 4 gas pumps, and it takes 25 minutes to go through the process of getting the ladder like step platform over to the airplane, hook up the ground, and pump $100 or more worth of gas. Put it all up and get going.

morning all...........yep still before noon here. I prefer my caffeine carbonated and cold but the doc's took that away.
|
Cold or hot is good as far as I am concerned, but if I could get away with it I would drink Mountain Dew Throwback all the time. Ice cold. With popcorn and cheese curds. Or Muenster. Or Muenster curds. Man, I would be my own airbag.
|
be a tight fit in the car as well.
|
I think I would over gross a 152 as well.
|
probably!
