Had a busy day for a while. Had to put the leaf cover on the koi pond. And do some honey doos outside. Played in the garage a bit. Beauitful weather.

Morning all. Yeah our pets were going nuts last night at what they felt was dinner time. I think they will get over it soon.

GH85Carrera 11-04-2019 06:23 AM

Our dog adjust to daylight saving in the spring instantly. They love it.
They sure hate the fall back bit and they are convinced I am mean and stupid for a while.

We’ve finished visiting with friends, and now having a few days detoxing in a cabin beside the beach before heading home.

looks great. No people about to mess up the view.

So Jeff, I assume you have transitioned into retirement with no desire to go back to work and get back on the grind of commuting to work to get frustrated with management.

Outback Porsche 11-04-2019 10:47 AM

I haven't got bored yet, and I often wonder where I had the time to fit work in. :D

Cool, Connie from the Student loan reduction company called and he has a program to help me eliminate or reduce my student loan. I guess need to get get a student loan real quick so I can reduce it. No wait, I think I will just ignore her, even though she started the call claiming she was returning my call asking about her service.

Porsche-poor 11-04-2019 12:04 PM

call her back and see if you can use her services to roll the student loan you have into an auto load for a new Porsche.

flipper35 11-04-2019 12:35 PM

Well, Mrs. Glen was taking a class so she was a student. Sounds like a new GT3 should be on the way. Education is NOT cheap.

Maybe I can get em to reduce the airplane loan!

That airplane loan is the only debt I have had since we paid off the house many years ago. And it is a debt that allows us to have business and rent the airplane from ourselves. Not quite as good as a machine that goes Bing, but it sure helped.

I guess I am one of the few left that actually LIKE the time change. It is 100% totally logical, and it moves my daytime operating hours into more daylight. I hate the short days of winter, but I like to get up and have the sun just rising, and not have darkness for an hour. Evening darkness just seems more logical.

And like the dogs, my tummy takes a few days to adjust, but I manage to get through it.

Porsche-poor 11-05-2019 06:10 AM

morning all. I hate the time change. It makes no difference to my work as I sit in a lighted office and stare at computer screen. I a few weeks I will go to work in the dark and go home in the dark.

They should make the shift in the spring and never touch it again.

Oh, all y'all need to take your snow back. We don't need no more of it, ya'hear?

Porsche-poor 11-05-2019 10:50 AM

We need the snow like I need another hole in my head.

pete3799 11-05-2019 11:12 AM

I see you're sending the snow this way Brent.
Just put the plow fronts on all 4 town trucks (and one wing) on today and a new cutting edge on one of the plows.

Just flurries so far but Thurs into Fri. maybe some accumulation.
Finished putting up 5000 yards of sand last week and have 1 load of salt in the shed so i guess i'm ready.

Y'all can keep that snow crap up north please. It is 69 and clear skies for today. Tomorrow the rain gets here. We may well be driving to Eureka Springs in the rain again. Friday and Saturday in Arkansas is supposed to be 50 and clear. Perfect for looking at pretty leaves and perfect curvy roads.
