Just watched The Terminator, for about the tenth time - the original, 1984 version.

I realize now what I didn't when I was a kid: What made that movie so terrifying was actually the crappy, stop-motion effects used on the terminator at the end, when it's just bare metal- it's all shaky and not fluent at all like modern CGI, which makes it actually scarier.

And a bunch of people on youtube seem to think the same thing

I bought that one on DVD a while back just because it is a cult film, I watched it and was amazed how it had aged.
The diffenence with the sequel is huuuuge, like Schumi said. But still, a classic.
