Grammar!
So, I was conversing via email to a potential new boss today and I guess I was in a hurry or something as I am normally quite particular about the words I put together.
I sent these sentences (taken out of context): ..I don't know that I am qualified for what is have posted but I'm less concerned... and... ...I will be within the realm of consideration then you aren't going to hurt my feelings if you say I shouldn't... The first one is obviously (to me) a poor edit, the next should be two different sentences. FRICK! FRICKITY FRICK FRICK!

The last four words of your post are correct.
I once wrote an application letter with a typo in it and I still got the job. Maybe he'll read over it. (but I think your chances are slim)

My biggest mistake is that I often change how I want a sentence to read while I am typing it, and I delete one word too few. It leads to of awkward sentences.

Write your emails in a word processing program, then cut and paste your document into your email. The word processing program will provide more spelling, grammar, and syntax correcting software than your standard email program. Just don't forget to always spell/grammar check prior to cut and paste.

I hate getting resumes with spelling and grammar mistakes on them. Today I got one from a gentleman who had worked on a windshield wiper system for BOSH.
I filed it in the round file. I'd make an exception if it was one of you guys.
