Ok, it's Sunday night here and some neighbor is mowing his grass!!

You REALLY couldn't find any time during daylight to do it?

Yes, he has his tractor headlight on.

He must be from the South. When you live a sreen door away from Hell, you learn to mow the yard at night. Or at least at 5:00am...

I've done it before at dusk.

Some weeks are REALLY busy, it rained the day before, it's supposed to rain the next day, and it's that or it doesn't get mowed for another week.

LOL, you'd think the guy would be tired of it after a day of doing it professionally. Mechanics usually drive the worst POS cars for a reason ...

I feel sorry for you. Leaf blowers are truly machines made by Satan. If there ever, ever was a need to ban anything, it should be leafblowers. Evil, obnoxious things.

Agreed. Blow the crap in the street or to the neighbor. Makes a lot of sense - not.

Man, you'd hate living on my street in the fall. I have 4 mature (70' +) maples and one mature ash, and everyone on my street has about the same.

It takes me about 5 hours to clean up leaves, and I have to do it once a week...

I must be the perfect neighbor....I usually mow my lawn on Thurs or Friday about 5 or 6 p.m.

However, since I like things to be perfect when having company or a party, I sometimes find it necessary to mow one more time the night before guest arrive - so I have a push mower that I occasionally use for midnight touchups. Generally, I don't need the touchup but I have found the perfect use for a push mower.

Heh heh. The neighbor of my in-laws does that--mow at all hours. The plots of land where they live are large enough that it's not any sort of noise nuisance. But my father-in-law chuckles every time he drives by at night, and sees headlights going up and down the neighbor's lawn. Happens fairly regularly, apparently.

Our neighbors run their electric leaf blower up to 4-5 hours a day on weekends. We are starting to wonder if they're trying to cover for a meth lab or sumthin' or are just amped themselves. They do it even in 90+ heat.

I had one across the street from me that cut the grass after dark, used to wear one of those little hat lights. Strange couple, wife never came out of the house, she was allergic to everything and only got the mail when she drove in with the car. Out to get the mail, back in the car, drove into the garage, shut the door. Never saw them outside. She didn't even walk from the front door to the mail box which was less than 100 ft. They turned the lights out on Halloween. He would use a handheld electric leaf blower to clean his driveway after a light snow. What *********s!

Sold the house so don't have to deal w/ their silly behavior anymore.

Exactly! I always say to myself he must get some kind of wierd sexual gratification from it. Last thing I want to do when I get home is the crap I do at work all day. Seven days a week this azzhole is out there with it. He even uses it to blow snow off his driveway and sidewalk.
Worst part is the POS blows everything out into the street and on everyone else's property. I know I'm gonna end up in jail over this dick one day.

I try to do my grass cutting during the week as soon as I get home. Like to keep the weekends quiet for the neighbors.

I mowed my yard yesterday. I finished up at 9:00 PM. It is a lot cooler when the sun is down. I put enough lights in my back yard to mow after sundown. I get the front yard done at sunset.

Amen!
It'll be near 100 with humidity in the high 90's today here in lovely Central Alabama. So, tonight, if you drive near where I am, don't look too closely if you see a mower running with one headlight 'cause the driver may be nekkid!
