Yikes... Unfortunately tough guys at bars will buy it.

I did have a bacon slab at a restaurant a few weeks ago. It was basically a bacon steak served as an appetizer.

Now these are 2 things i take very seriously, pig , and wodka.
I take em so seriously, that it's my opinion, that anyone who occupies himself with "bacon wodka", should in fact, be drowned in a barrel of wodka, and fed to the pigs.

IT'S NOT RIGHT.

My wife got this at the Euro deli today. Just over 2.5 lbs of goodness. Lightly fry & serve with fresh French bread & cold butter. Ummmmmmmmm . . .

Plain vodka on the side, please.

You would think so. But my out-laws are here for the weekend, so we had a mess of it for brunch. They are 87 & 80 year old Hungarians. They have been eating this & much, much worse - deep fried pork grease balls anyone? - their whole lives. We had pork ribs last night, this bacon for lunch & pork schnitzel for dinner. They are lovin' it.

Those kids need the right shoes to go with that flavorful, smoky look. Try these http://inventorspot.com/articles/sizzling_customizable_bacon_shoe_keds_30957
