Good stuff. Through out life it is possible that people's reaction to this achievement will surprise you.

Always put it on any resume you create. Always. It will bring yours to the top. It has for me for almost any job I have ever gone after.

Congratulations, no go tell your parents 'thank you.'

Way to go man. It's been a few years since I have gotten mine. It has opened many doors.

Should also mention that one of my friends got it tonight too. He and I make the third and fourth to get eagle out if the 5 guys that joined that troop together. The 5th dropped out. Those three guys are like my brothers.

Congrats! It's a great accomplishment! Are you going to try for bronze, silver or gold palms?

Congrats! Thats a huge honor. You should be very proud.

I never made Eagle. One rank away. Was too lazy to finish my requirements.

Congrats to you and your family! Mine has indeed opened doors, and my brother (also an Eagle) has had the same experience. Long after you stop listing summer jobs and other stuff from your teen years on your resume, your Eagle will still be there.

Congratulations. Eagle Scout is definitely something to be proud of. I suspect I will never have you as a criminal client or ever see you collecting welfare!
