They're all funny but it's idiots like these running around the country that make it real hard to argue about one's right to bear arms. Where's Darwin when you really need him?

The third video with the drunk chick is way bad and stupid. Giving a gun to a drunk seems like a bad idea all the way around. Making the drunk a chick and the gun a .50 just ups the ante.

Something similar happened at an indoor range in the Seattle area a about 10 years ago, and they guy in ball-cap-boys position died.
One of my Navy buddies was at the range, and there was a group of 20-somethings in the next lane. So my friend is reloading and the "boom" from the next lane just sounds wrong. He turns and sees one of the kids on the floor. Turns out it was a group from a local church that went and did things together every week, movies, bowling, whatever. Well, one of them was a shooter, and that week, he brought the group to the range. Well, the (now dead) shooter-kid was teaching a ~100lb girl to shoot, with a .44 Magnum. He was standing behind her, over her shoulder, when she touched the first round off. Well, the recoil surprised her, and the the muzzle flipped back over her shoulder where she flinched and put a round into the shooter-kid's head. Tom |
