if you blasted an intruder in your home...would you need to move?

got in a debate at work...probably because alot of my co-workers are asian. they are afraid of ghost and stuff.

if you caught some guy about to do bad things in your sacred home, and you opened him/her up with gunfire, would you still be able to sleep at home? i am talking close range, .357 to the head, or 12g shotgun to the face, brainy mashy splatter, blood pool grossness.

i think i would spongeclean, change out sheetrock, redecorate, and move back in.
my wife? not so much..

you guys?

I'd leave the blood splatter on the wall as a warning to future invaders. If allowed, I'd also leave their head on a pike in my front yard.

I like you. You can date my sister.

Me?

Probably not.

My wife?

Definitely. She watches "Ghost Hunters". She's a sucker for that crap.

red-beard 08-13-2009 09:55 AM

A little bleach, paint and sheet rock, what is the difference?

Anyone think Joe horn has trouble sleeping at his house?

+1

EDIT: We would probably have to move based on my wife being pretty freaked out by gross stuff.

And, no, I doubt she would let me take the perp's head to a new house.:)

M.D. Holloway 08-13-2009 10:11 AM

move an end table over the stain maybe...

JavaBrewer 08-13-2009 10:15 AM

We would have to move.

So you would sell your home at a loss (or abandon it completely) if you blasted someone inside?

No way. Dirtbags will have my home marked with a push-pin in their "places to avoid" map, not vice-versa.

You shot him in the face recently? His soul is probably still scare. But I understand about the wife and kids part. Maybe not a good idea if they saw it happend.

Are you one of Vash's co-workers?

I never said anything about selling the house for a loss...

If I shot & killed someone in our home it would be messy (12ga 870). Most likely the wife and kids would be there as well and there's no way they would be at ease in the home again.

I would rent the home and find another place to live. We would stay in the same community however.

Hmm...tons of places for rent in SoCal. Probably wouldn't get top-dollar. So you'd be willing to take a loss?

I could see if you lived through the Amityville Horror or something, but moving from your home? That sounds pretty drastic.

Check out the company called Crime Scene Cleanup.

PorscheGAL 08-13-2009 10:36 AM

I like my home enough to defend it. I would clean and stay. In our small town everyone would know and I guarantee no one would try again.

GH85Carrera 08-13-2009 10:36 AM

It would not bother me at all. Once it is all cleaned up what difference does it make? I may have to get this sign for my front yard.

Not as drastic as putting someone down in the home...at least to me. Look I'm just being honest. I have a wife and young kids - there is no way they are going to want to stay after such an event. Could I (if single)...maybe...I can't say for sure as I have never killed anyone. There is much more at stake then money.

rnln 08-13-2009 10:40 AM

Yup. But I am not saying I should be affraid at the ghost, rather the soul is still afraid at his gun http://forums.pelicanparts.com/suppo...ys/men_ani.gif

Ah-ha...I see.

So...souls are bullet-proof?
