OK,,, so tell me about mail order brides

anyone her traveled to "meet" the right lady? ive often joked about it over the years as have my friends. we even before the internets subscribed to a mailer called "chinas blossoms" or something the like. we were in our early 20's & would gather around when it arrived to see what the cherry tree had to offer. we would yuk it up and all have a good time with it. if i recall it was rolling stone classified that brought us so much joy way back then.

still might consider it some day, but as of now i am building a spec 911 so i can not afford two loves. if i was to look around where might a guy start? heres's what ive heard--

russian- GOOD- they are hot! leggy & know english if they want out & to get ahead. varying looks, many educated bread winners once settles. BAD- very high maintenance. might kill you in your sleep, or take everything you've ever worked for in the divorce proceedings. they will network here and find others that will show them what to take & the lawyer to chose. still, very hot w/o much shopping. so many looks from behind the iron curtain you can find one that suits yer taste as ive heard it.

asian- 31 flavors here! likely have to travel to get them sprung. culture? cooking? how many times a week can you have rice? very obedient, yes papa-san! language? me so horny me to death why dont ya? very tiny framed. loyal. just too "done" maybe? i am not a pale, well to do engineer either.

mexican- my roots! language would be overcomable. cooking! network for the good & bad her in california. maybe easier to get "in country"? love the olive complection & dark features. they can be fertile, & get big if not run often.


so if cost & a current wife was not an issue which bride & why? not looking for a young creepy deal or directions on how to do that. what says you if you were giving a friend the dope?

personally i think i could never fool myself into believing you get what you really hope to get out of such a deal... I mean, if you want somebody to clean your house, or cook you food... get a maid... If you want regular poontang, i'm sure you can find a workable setup with a profesional without exposing your whole bankaccount in one go...

The above questions about , she might run away with my money or kill me, or whatever, well yeah, that's what marriage is...or the comments about loyalty, getting fat, etc etc..
If you take away the risks, then it's just slave trading right? a Girl, shipped in, that doesn't talk back, can't run away, totally depends on you, expected to do what you want, when you want it and how you want it...

I'm not saying all foreign marriages are like that, but i do think that's the basic concept of "ordering" one... I've seen the documentaries, dude goes abroad, has several girls shown to him, they talk , go on a date, and the next day both decide it's love at first sight.. please... I'de rather be single for the rest of my life then to be a hypocritical control freak over a woman that thinks my wealth and location in the world is her ticket out of her lack of wealth and her own location in the world

hmmm major problem besides what is posted above is that I heard that if you provide the visa/green card you will be responsible for her for 10 years or so regarding social security and what not.

Divorce is more expensive than said maid/paid booty

My hairdresser was a mail order bride from Russia. Her husband was a divorced father looking for demur, housewife. He got a smart, headstrong woman who was used to doing everything for herself (Her parents died when she was 14 and she raised a younger sister) She got a job shortly after getting here. Their marriage has lasted 7 years. She left last Christmas day to visit with family in Russia. She has yet to come back.

I know of a case where this guy who is a highly educated, decent looking guy found him one in Ukraine. The girl is gorgeous and sweet with a great disposition, but there's one problem. She has a Brain!
The guy didn't count on her getting over here and making something of herself and not being content sitting idly by at his feet worshiping the ground he walks on.
She has just finished her doctorate and before long I suspect she will have enough and be gone. She can't talk to anyone without him being right up her butt watching and listening, eyeballing you like you have a club and gunny sack ready to smash her over the head, stuff her in the bag and run off.
So jealous it ain't funny.

And then there was another guy I knew. Browsed the Russian catalogs for years, bought the big ol' Red Army-looking winter hats for him and her!
