My smith and wesson, for instance, has a long DA pull and a manual safety (and a firing pin and a magazine safety). You could safely carry that in a waistband. It would still be STUPID, but you would not shoot yourself at least.

Never underestimate people who do dumb things. I'm sure this sharpshooter could figure out a way to AD your S&W.

LOL, you are right about the ability of morons to find a way to screw up anything. I know a guy that had an AD with a S&W 915 with all kinds of safeties. Whoopsies.
