In Belgium it is not needed to have a picture of the driver's face.
If the car is caught speeding, the owner will get the ticket home.
He pays, or states that he was not behind the wheel.
There is a page included for the driver (if that was not the owner) to fill in his details.
He then gets the fine sent to his house later.
If the offender is not willing to pay, the owner pays. That discussion is between owner and offender. State gets its money.

He should've at least taken his license plate off before running the camera. Or better still, covered it with a piece of paper reading "NO MONEY" or something. If you're gonna' go, go all the way...

This guy is a hero.

i usually don't fight tickets, as long as i'm statistically winning, which so far , is the case. But if they bust me on a big one, and license suspension is in the air...
I'm going to put another driver abroad on that form...

One of many reasons why I would never live in Belgium. Lived in Denmark and Germany for years and they are more reasonable with things like this.

This is not safety related nor trying to make the roads safer, its pure revenue enhancement, "robbing from the citizens" to enrich the coffers. This will be voted out of being, its just a matter of time.

you quote that as a reason, but frankly, on average, speed on our roads will be faster then the US... chances of getting busted for speeding is next to nothing...
my cruise driving to work is 160kph, when 120 is the limit..
i have gotten just one single ticket in over a year... for 130 in a 120 zone..

I laughed myself silly when i payed that fine...it's a joke really

50 tickets that are now invalid, that dude kicks ass????? He should have his ass kicked not only for the multiple speeding vialations but because he is stupid enough to drive around in a monkey mask. the guy is a idiot, you'd think with all the money he's saved from his unpaid tickets that he'd be able to afford a Clinton , Bush, or Nixon mask

if you think for an instant hes gonna walk free...........yer smoking crack. now since the media has jumped on this azdps is gonna lynch this guy. or suffer humiliation. now when has a state police agency allowed that to happen.

A they have his plate
B ID of car as his
C masks
D he has admitted buying masks
E he has now been caught (5) more times speeding since being served at work at SWA here in phx.
F he does live here as evidenced by drivers license.

another classic case of not "flying under the "dar-dar" radar" and hes gonna get an exocet shoved up his ass!

Yeah, he should have cooled it once he knew he was getting famous. While I have a huge problem with the legality of these cameras, they are so easy to defeat, that I almost think you deserve the ticket if you get one. Most of them have ample warning signs, you can see the lines in the road where their sensor wires have been buried and covered with tar and most other cars on the road slow down for them. I can speed up for them because I can easily fit my bike between the sensors in the road. Only one camera is a little difficult to me because its wires are always covered by the shadow of the overpass just before it. But I can easily do 90 mph right past those cameras and not trip them.

azdps is gonna CLEAN THIS GUYS CLOCK!

this isnt a joke. the only way he can walk is to prove to a judge he was IN THE AIR FLYING or in another STATE at the precise times those pics were taken.

no judge is gonna believe he loaned his car out that many times.

fiance and i were nailed in star valley last sat. outside payson. she was driving. 68 in a 45mph zona. they blocked my face out completely on pic. hers was a PERFECT FAMILY PORTRAIT PHOTO. no denying whom it was.

Yeah, just love f*cking traffic cameras. I got a stop light ticket while on my bike. The sensors wouldn't trigger at an intersection and I was stuck at the red light. Waited for a clear intersection and left. Got a $125 fine.

Those are pretty easy to beat in court in a lot of states. In fact, a lot of states have laws that specifically allow it for bikes or at intersection where there's a malfunction.

Sure. If you have no sense of right or wrong, if you worship criminals more than those who try to protect us from criminals, if you think it's cool to be anti-social, if you think it's cool to break laws, then by all means. Support this guy.

Not me, I was raised better than that. If I was driving next to this clown I'd put him in the weeds and perform a citizen's arrest.

If you don't like a law, you fight to change it. You don't just ignore it.

He is fighting to change it.

The 'just following orders' defense won't work if the orders are unjust. These traffic cameras and the way traffic 'court' is handled is completely and totally unjust. There is no 'right' - if you're a citizen and a Police officer says you did it - you're guilty. Period.

The only way we change this is through anti-social revolution to bring the masses awareness up. THEN and only then can the truth be heard.

Paying his fines would defeat the entire purpose.

But yes, he is a martyr. God bless him.
