Okay, but some of us don't have access to these items, and wouldn't know how to decipher them anyway.

So what do the samples and rings suggest in re. to wildfires such as what we're now experiencing?

And the Earth does not warm and cool without the influence of man? Tell that to the Dinosaurs. This is arrogance on high folks..men that think they are above nature and are the sole influence on the planet...Get a grip...climate is always changing and is cyclical

You are right about the fuel build up....it has been my experience that once every 40 years or so you get a burn off in a particular area. With fire suppression you will get bigger and badder fires in those areas. Just go back to the history books boy...

Now you have to deal with man-made floods

Water gushes down streets in drought-stricken LA :: WRAL.com

LOS ANGELES — Torrents of water swept cars off streets and barbecues out of backyards in Los Angeles in recent weeks, but the floods are coming from the ground rather than the sky.

Not a drop of rain has fallen on the city since June 5, according to the National Weather Service, but aging water pipes have blown up at a rate of more than one a day. Residents of the drought-stricken city are getting angry, muddy and wet as they watch millions of gallons of water wash away.
